Anything from Sufjan Stevens, oh god. Why didn't I discover him sooner, he's my new favorite musician ever. I really don't listen to anything with lyrics in general. I have a very specific preference when it comes to music. For the Widows in Paradise, Jacksonville, Come On! Feel the Illinoise!, And of course, Chicago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=azGIf74ICmw

I can't stop listening to this: Yes! <3 Andrew Bird is awesome. ^__^ Anything from Sufjan Stevens, oh god. Why didn't I discover him sooner, he's my new favorite musician ever. I really don't listen to anything with lyrics in general. I have a very specific preference when it comes to music. For the Widows in Paradise, Jacksonville, Come On! Feel the Illinoise!, And of course, Chicago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=azGIf74ICmwAGREED x 42783947238947238942 I knew about him for a while, had one of his songs on my iPod for aaaages but never really got around to checking out his music until about... a month ago? And when I finally did it was like !!!!! MUSICAL TRANSCENDENCE! WHY DID I NOT LISTEN TO THIS SOONER? THEN IT COULD'VE BEEN IN MY LIFE FOR SO LONGER WHYYYY.Casimir Pulaski Day is probably one of the most beautiful songs ever. I would also recommend Majesty Snowbird, Futile Devices and Impossible Soul. And I am also kind of obsessed with his cover of There Will Be Blood? xD It is epic. tl;dr Sufjan Stevens is amazing and everybody who hasn't listened to him yet should. /endmusicfangirlingfreakoutIhavebeenmeaningtogetthisoutofmysystemforawhile

Many of Martin O'Donnell's works are downright amazing to me. He brought as much to the Halo series of games as the story and gameplay did, but through music. Almost all of the soundtracks are memorable, not least of which are tracks full of emotion such as Never Forget or Ashes, some EPIC tracks such as Greatest Journey and the ODST credits, or just plain some wandering, lonely pieces like the first three minutes of Deference For Darkness, and I could go on and on. Recently I was introduced to a remix of some of his stuff, done by somebody else but still follow in a greatness I can appreciate. It's a mix of Never Forget and the trailer music Finish The Fight called Immortalized. You'll have to download this one to hear it, though.

I absolutely LOVE Ar Tonelico songs. I began listening to songs looong before I started to watch the gameplay, and even so, I still haven't finished watching Melody of Elemia because I'm too busy listening to these songs: Rig VedaChronicle KeyImplantaReplekia (Thanks to this song I now am thinking of a character called "Repleka") SphiliaCosmoflipsFlip ArphageAnd the crowing jewel of them all... Phantasmagoria (If you don't love this than you have NO SOUL)

Someone might have mentioned this before, but for apocalyptic, doom-laden songs, The Plagues from The Prince of Egypt movie gives me the shivers. <3

It's brilliant.
