Nice job Kelpie! I don't think it's the best one of yours I've seen so far either, but it's great nonetheless. Congrats. ^_^ Komori, isn't that the picture that you submitted... *checks* on January 20? I'm so glad it finally got in; I loved it. =3 I'm somewhat exhausted from school today, but suffice it to say that all of your pictures look awesome, and everyone looks like they're improving so much (and awesome curtains, Ginger). I don't think that I could really say anything else that would make a helpful critique anyways, so I'll just hope you guys get in with your incredible stuff.

Wow, I never expected that to get in so late! I mean, I did resubmit it back in May, but sheesh, that was months ago! XDDD But spiff, I'm glad it finally made it in. Got an Acko petpet for it. :3

Congratulations, both of you! ^^ Squee, Komori, I'm so glad that pic finally made it in! It's fabulous, and definitely deserved to get in. I remember thinking there was something wrong with the judges' eyes to not let it in way back when. It's good to know you got the credit it deserved. ^^

actually..the only reason it probably didnt get in was because it didnt belong to any category...

Did you know that there is no category for Xweetok? Because there was no category for Mutant either and they failed to put Mutant Day in the list of specials, I had to submit my picture of a Mutant Xweetok under other.

Okay, finally decided to post this. It's a Maraquan Techo, for Techo day: Aside from a few late-term palette changes (including how the back rocks are closer color-wise to that of that ocean), this was done entirely in mspaint (including the original sketch), oftentimes pixel by pixel. Easily 16+ hours. Watch, it probably won't get in. But either way I love how it turned out. Now if anyone ever says "i can't do guud art b3cus i only have mspaint lol," I can prove them wrong =P Woot, I love ms paint art The only "flaws" I can pick up are the way the head attaches to the neck (but that's probably how all techos look), and... ack, I can't find a second one. This picture is awesome. I just love those white highlights

Wow...excellent pic for Techo Day, Auntfalcor And..here's mine. It's not nearly as good as yours but I do hope it's good enough for the Art Gallery. The arms of the red Techo are too long, but I love the way I did the hands and so I don't want to touch the arms. They'll have to do, I guess. No waves on the ocean because I decided I'd like it to be waveless. Looks more tropical and calm and tranquil. No shadows for the grass because...I admit, it was too hard to do and no matter how hard I tried on it, it didn't look right. So, there ya go!

The long arms and unshadowed grass don't bother me at all You made the grass different colors, that's good enough I think. I do miss shadow on other places tough... (belly of the red techo and skirt of the girl) But it's a nice picture !!!

Pacmanite, what do you mean? Is the neck too thin? How should it look?
And Ginger, I really like that pic. The background is really elaborate. It definitely looks like AG material to me =)

You really nailed that anatomy! Yeah, hands are tough to do, but these ones are great! I'm not so much of a fan of those large droplets of rain though... it's more realistic if you depict rain as light white streaks, like the stuff from this tutorial: neondragonart.com/dp/tutorials/rain.htm . But you've improved again in leaps and bounds! And I love that palm tree! Pacmanite, what do you mean? Is the neck too thin? How should it look? I meant that the neck should attach more to the back of the head, because the cheeks seem to bulge out too much behind the neck. But don't worry about it, it's really minor. Besides, it would take another fifty hours in ms paint to change xP Finally I've somewhat finished my techo day entry. But the resize and jpg format sorta killed it Also, tell me if those clouds are distracting you... I'm not sure if I should have put them in... And... woot! I got a good faber-castell brush pen now ;D

Thanks for the compliments Pacmanite and AutoC Pacmanite: Great picture! It took me a while to realise that you had got the leg in the right place...for a while it didn't seem right to me. It's one of those poses that you have to really look hard at I think I love the way you've coloured it. Really well done. The clouds look fine by the way. In fact they are barely noticeable at all, which can be a good thing if you don't want them to be distracting. Autoc: Wow....just WOW...amazing picture. I LOVE the lighting and shadow effects. The background is also spiffy. If they don't publish it I will be very surprised. I hope you get a decent prize for it also
