For volunteering, the museum gave me a free membership benefits card!
The best part? Next to my name, it says, "Good Through: ∞."
That means I can come back as a ghost at the end of time with two distant family members and they'll still let us in for free.

My sister has friends over. I sit in on their conversation. They try to drive me off by talking about which girls I am potentially interested in. I have seen several people subjected to this sort of thing, and most of them start blushing and act embarrassed. I just laugh over how wrong they are. For instance, given my social awkwardness, they take the simple action of me talking to a girl to be a sign of affection. It's amusing, and by the end, my sister's friends have found me amusing and override my sisters orders for me to leave.
I leave voluntarily anyway and come here to post this.
I enjoy messing with my sister's head. It's like a Rossini opera.

Got help developing a character, folded my entire family's laundry without being asked, spent some time with my father and didn't feel as intimidated by him, wrote a decent-sounding poem in only a half hour, and tried for the STC.
Today was productive.

THIS IS THE BEST. DAY. EVER. I FEEL THE NEED TO RUN IN CIRCLES AND SCREAM THAT.
FIRST I GET TO EXPERIENCE WHAT I'VE WANTED TO EXPERIENCE FOR SO LONG: SEEING MY OWN STORY IN THE NEOPIAN TIMES. I SAW IT ON MY PHONE AT EL POLLO LOCO. AND THEN I CRIED. AT EL POLLO LOCO.
AND THEN AFTER DINNER AT EL POLLO LOCO, I FIND OUT THAT I WAS CAST IN THE SUMMER PLAY, "THE QUEST", WITH THE ROLE OF ALANA, A LEGENDARY WARRIOR HEROINE. THAT WAS EXACTLY THE ROLE I WAS GOING FOR. THE DIRECTOR SAID MY AUDITION SOLD IT. OH MY GOSH I AM SO HAPPY I GET TO HAVE EPIC SWORD FIGHTS AND DIE ON STAGE AFTER BEING TOTALLY BEATEN UP AND THEN I COME BACK TO LIFE AND AT THE END THERE'S A HUUUUUGE FIGHT AND I'M THE ONE WHO TURNS THE TIDE OF THE WAR AND I GET TO SHOUT SOMETHING LIKE "FOR NARNIA" BUT OBVIOUSLY IT'S NOT NARNIA IT'S SOMETHING ELSE AWESOME AND SASDHJCXBZFDRTYJKUGHNSFETRSUYFKHMCNXFZGTJYFCNXFZDGSDHFJ

Power has been restored!
...and it was only an hour-long trip despite being a Saturday, because I managed to get ready right in time to catch the bus there, and it was at the time of day where I managed to catch a bus back immediately after I retrieved the missing half of my laptop charger.

Yes! Finally, I find a traditional production of Rigoletto! And tickets are cheap too. What's more, this is a good quality opera company. Good tickets to a good production of a good opera. They've even got the supertitles. Rigoletto hits the jackpot indeed. Sorry, Met. I'm leaving you.

Halfway to my goal weight. ^__^ Going slower than I'd like but 13 pounds in 3 months isn't bad, I suppose.  And! I'm also apparently just three pounds away from no longer being considered "overweight" BMI-wise. Yay! |

Went out with the family today, and entered a Duane Reade.
We passed the gorilla snot shampoo. I don't remember exactly what I said, but here are bits and pieces:
nobody nose
'snot my fault
smelled a rat
nothing to sneeze at
oh, that makes scents
My mom said, "STOP THAT, YOU'RE DRIVING ME CRAZY!"
SUCCESS.
