I am almost finished reading "On Writing". On Writing is a novel by Stephen King which speaks of everything about the art of writing, along with personal stories.
I think that EVERY aspiring writer should have a look at On Writing. A very inspirational read.

Hmm . . . thanks. I really need more books to read, since I've read the bookies on my shelf about two-three times each.

Be warned though- I don't want anyone getting mad at me for this. There ARE some swear words in it. But most of Stephen King's writing has those words. Just incase some of you are sensitive to that kind of stuff...

Say is anyone else here a Stephen King fan? I have a couple of his books... well... three. But I'm getting more soon. I always wanted to read his work and now that I've started, I can't put his books down.

The swear words are sometimes there just to express himself more freely.

Lol. Really??? Welp . . . anybody read bookies by Sharon Creech, Kit Pearson or . . . err . . . of course, J.K Rowling . . . Sharon Creech: Yes. I've read Walk Two Moons...it was good, but very, very sad...I cried the first time (of many) that I've read it. Kit Pearson: Don't think so. J.K. Rowling: Of course! I've never read Stephen King, even though he lives in my state...well, I just don't like him. I mean, I've never read him, but I don't like the kind of genre of what he writes. My brothers had to read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon over the summer once, and they both hated it.

My brothers had to read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon over the summer once, and they both hated it. You've read Walk Two Moons? You're like the only person I know that actually read it without my introducing it to you!! Wowwie! When I finished the book, believe it or not, I HATED it. It was too sad. Too dramatic. All these things were popping into my mind. So unexpected. It's like, you know that (insert main scene here), but Sharon Creech makes it like "Oh no, she isn't ____!" and stuffies, but then . . . . yeah. Me no want spoil'su. -- Erm . . . then I realized it made me think a lot. So now it's me favourite bookie ^.^ I'm reading my third Sharon Creech bookies. One was called the Wanderer, and it was kind of sad . . . and Chasing Redbird is about Sal's best friend . . . yeah. Also sad. *sniff* Walk Two Moons is a major crier. Amy cried when she read it. *sniff* NOOO!! ;_; Anyways, the second so far is The Goblet of Fire (HP)
