WHEEE! HARRI!! I do not like the books. I love them. ^_^ I usualy go to school with at least one Harry Potter book in my bag (Unless my book for english is REALLY thick, in that case I'll leave Harry at home, only to save my back). JK Rowling is an amazing author, she's just too brilliant for words! I have too many other fanasty writers that I love, they're all so very very good. ^_^ I live in the same country as her. YAY. Has anyone ever been to platform nine3/4, i have.

They have pictures on the floor saying "No broom parking" and "Keep owl noise to a minimum". Any way, half the scenec in the movie, arnt acctualy in Kings Cross, its a really small place. And you know that black guy whoi bumped into Harry,I swera he isnt an actor. I've seen him sop many times

The movie was then shot inside from a different train station as well... In any case, when I go to England (translation: never), I wanna go to the towns that JK Rowling based the names of the characters after (like the town of Snape or Quidditch. Or the Dumbledore Bed and Breakfast...okay..may skip that one...).

I like David Gemmel, which is REALLY saying something considering I don't like reading... at all. There are only four things that can keep my attention for any length of time: somethingawful.com Books by Scott Adams (creater of Dilbert) Books by David Gemmel (and even then I only read a few pages at a time) articles by stoneman3x
I just have a really bad attention span.. I start reading and then my mind wanders and suddenly I realize I haven't got a clue what's going on, then I have to go back and read it again.

I also like the Harry Potter books, save the second one.
What happened to Patjade? She should come in here and tell y'all 'bout Andre Norton.
Some other missed authors-
Robin McKinley Diana Wynne Jones (I know she's already been mentioned) Mercedes Lackey (warning : 95% of her books are either PG-13 or rated R) Penelope Farmer (bet none of you ever heard of her, her best book was Emma in Winter) Laurence Yep (his historical fiction is much better than his fantasy, though his novel Dragon War was fun) ...and many others!

I love Harry Potter, and Tamora Pierce also rocks. I also like Gail Carson Levine, even though her stories are kind of child-like, and Phillip Pullman Ross's His Dark Materials Trilogy.
