I'm not sure how many are you are aware but on Sunday the 30th in Cape Town, South Africa there will be a concert for AIDS awareness. This concert will feature classic rockers like David Bowie, The Eurthymics, Rod Stewart, U2 and what has made me scream, Queen. (Brian and Roger anyway, who also ORGINIZED this concert.) You can watch the concert on 46664.com on the day and the rest will be broadcasted on MTV and VH1 the day after, World AIDS day.
That evening of World AIDS day on VH1 there will be a one hour special about the diease, how it spreads, and people who have brought the diease into the spotlight. This special begins at 9 pm EST, 8 central.
I do hope this raises awareness about the diease. And yes folks, the only reason I know so much about this is because I've been reading about it on Queen Online.Com
And yes, the concert was also orginzed with the aid of Nelson Mandela, whose prision numbers the concert is taken from.
