Dood, I took my ACT last month. I expected to do so-so, perhaps a 28 or 29. I wasn't too confident about any of it, really. However, I got my scores back today and I got a...
30! I got a 30!!
That's Bright Flight, which basically means any college (that doesn't go by the SAT) will really consider me. I got it made wherever I go. Plus, if I go to a school here in Missouri, I have most (or all) of my tuition paid for. I'm SO happy, mostly because I never have to take this ACT again. I'm done at the beginning of my Junior year! 'Course, I might go back next year to see if I can get a higher score (I think I'm gonna try for 33).
The odd thing about this is that the category that I got the highest in, Science, was complete guesswork. You see, the Science section is last out of four LONG sections, and it's really hard. You have to analyze a bunch of pointless, stupid graphs, which nobody really wants to do. That, of course, included me. So I pretty much guessed on everything. But I got a 99% on it! I feel like the majority of my test score is based on this "lucky guessing" in the Science section (in one part of Math I only got a 76% - It was Algebra). But whether or not it is, I'm pretty much set if I want to get into Marine Biology. No college will ignore that kinda score for Science.
