I don't know a whole lot about this since my senior counsellor that I REALLY REALLY sucked up to, signed me up without having to pay. (paying for volunteering... I know, strange, but you get special classes and learn TONS of really cool stuff about animals) But I don't know if the SPCA in your area will make you pay or not. Just visit/e-mail/phone your local SPCA, and they will give you/send you a form that way. You can get these off of Google or other search thingy-ma-jiggies. I don't know anymore then that. It's really quite fun. Walking dogs, playing with and holding all the kittens an cats there--it really helps, and it's fun. And what I do if I get a vegetable I REALLY don't like, I can save it and give it to the bunnies there. Really, I get away without eating carrots, and the bunnies get nice, healthy vegetables they like. ;D And you can take any of the classes--you get to learn SO much about animals, and hang out with them at the same time. It'll be great for any resume. Also, you can be part of any sort of organization--I'm going to a meeting next month to represent the SPCA at my school. ;D You can also become a junior (or senior, if you're older) counsellor at SPCA camp if a senior counsellor recomends you, and you'll get payed. But I think the catch is Leesa is going to make me be a junior counsellor and do it for nothing.

I searched for you, but apparently, every area has there own type of application form. Just find out where your closest SPCA is.

Thats great! Too bad the closest SPCA is about 2 hours away from my house, I'd sign up right away if it wasn't for that part.

I never thought of joining the SPCA to help da cute little animals in da whole world... **some howwibly cute disney scene pops up all around Fuzzeh, until he snaps back into reality and it all turns to mush**
Cleveland MUST have a chapter. Hawken has a Humane Society club, but it's all girls and they don't do anything, they just complain about problems and eat cookies. As much fun as that is, it wastes time I could be spending on Speech & Debate.
**hugs Cheshire's skeith**
