On the fifteenth, I got a LOT of brand-new school supplies from my aunt (after informing her and my mom that I have chosen to take the opportunity to SKIP A GRADE), on Thursday (two days ago) I got my biggest haircut since my *other* aunt had given me a mushroom cut in grade 1 (or 2...) and I am loving it! Then, today I got my ears pierced! Life is good!
I even got to get my ears done FOR FREE! Two people did my ears at once-one at each ear-but they didn't go at EXACTLY the same time, so I jumped at the first hole and the other person did it as I jumped, so it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY lower than it was supposed to be, so they didn't charge us for the service OR the earrings!
Oh, I never mentioned I got new shoes... Well, I got NEW SHOES, TOO!
Oh, and they re-pierced the ear they hadn't gotten right after about five minutes.

Not so good anymore... my ears are killing me (and I have to sleep with cottonballs SOAKED in the special cleanser they gave me behind my ears, and a couple warts on my toes (which I had begun to remove with medicine) are turning my foot into a burning mass of pain... and my brother has two friends over tonight and spent nine dollars off my bank account.

Aww! Life isn't fair is it? I'm sure you'll be happy again soon though

I love those kind of days when life just feels so good for me. It is a really enjoyable feeling that I never want to diminish. I'm glad you've been feeling that way lately. I remember when I got my ears pierced the first time, and the second.. it didn't hurt much. Afterwards there was just a bit of throbbing pain, which I'm sure you can relate to - I hope you feel much better.

I've tried many golds and metals but they just make my ears go septic. Anyway, I'll shut up now lol.

Wow, good for you! I was offered to skip grade 7, but I reeeeaaaaally didn't want to skip grade 7 because i HATED the grade 8's and didn't want to be the only little one in the class. But wow!!! Congrats!

Well, I'm skipping grade 8. I nearly had a heart attack thinking that the little ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* who'd followed me home and beat me up at the beginning of summer was in grade 8 last year, and would be in my class next year, but then I realized that she was grade nine, not eight... so she'll be in grade 10! My good luck is holding out!
