My mom, little sister, and I were shopping for school stuff yesterday. It was pretty crowded, of course, and we just wanted to get home by the time we finished, but we stopped in the cookie aisle on the way to the cash register and picked up some cookies. There were notebooks at the end of the aisle, and I realized I needed one, so we stopped there, and an old man, a complete stranger, whom we'd passed as we got the cookies came up to us. "Here, I thought you might like this coupon for the cookies you got," he said, and handed us one of a few coupons he had in his hand. It was incredibly nice of him--how many people would bother giving someone an extra coupon they had, let alone making sure it was the right kind of cookie? I dunno, it was just really nice of him
