I recived my AP English scores in the mail today and am SO happy to report that I PASSED WITH A 4!
I'm sure none of you understand, but I'm just SO happy! I was egocentric and KNEW that I would at least pass (I know, I'm arrogant.) but I figured that it would be a plan ol' 3 and thats that...
BUT I GOT A 4! EEE! I'M SO HAPPY! It's a real shame that you never find out what grades you get on essays. I'd really like to know..

4!? Oh wait.. No surprise, I've gotten one or two before. (Even though I wasn't in an AP class last year, my Lit teacher used that kind of Rubric Scale on reports and such) Nicely done, Linny.  |

Classics?! Pshaw! Who needs classics when you can write essays about comparing bird poop to snow? (That was, acutaly, one of my essays).
Still, I've been looking at some of the stuff for AP 12th, and it looks like i get to write MORE Harry essays (those ones where you compare the passage to a book look like good thing sto inflict my Harry obsession on!).

Yeah. Sometimes in AP essays you have to compare two essays and tell how they are the same and how they differ. This time it was two essays about birds.
One was kind of weird because this guy was following a flock of birds and he kept comparing their poop to delicate snowflakes. I, sadly, had to use that as part of my argument (I was reduced to talking about bird poop. How doe sthat measure my literary skills?).

Was it a score out of 6?
Anyway, congrats! That's really good!
I got a 5.5 on this writing assessment all seventh gradets have to take in my state, but that was a lot easier than yours...and no, I didn't use Harry (probably why I didn't get a 6).

Naw, it's out of a score of 5. That writing test you had to take sounds like ones we have to take in our state as well. I got a 5.5 on my last one... But this test is an AP test. You take a special class and if you pass this test at the end of the year then you get to get college credit. |
