Well, after much begging, pleading and saving of money, I've finaly convinced my parents that I am mature and responible and ready for an electric guitar. And they've agreed to pay for half. And I'm getting it tomorrow. Allow me to prance. *does so* Oh, this is the guitar. www.traditionguitars.com/G12M-MS-Closeup.jpgYes, I am overly happy.

My dad told me a story once when he was a teenager, his friend was moving away or something like that. Anyway, he needed to sell his guitar off and he was selling it for 100 dollars. My dad wanted it so he asked his parents. And you know what they said? They said no, that he already had a guitar. Well, my dad couldn't raise enough money for it and the guitar was sold to someone else. My dad told me that type of guitar now cost thousands to buy. I believe it was a special guitar. I forgot what though. Be happy that you got it.

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous! *Oggles* I have an acoustic, though my sister's borrowing it... I'm going to take it back.. It's a Gibson/Epiphone. I also have my Dad's old cherry red bass upstairs somewhere.
Guitar horror story; My dad had a Martian 12 string and lent it to a friend... The friend's dog chewed it's head off! *cries* if he still has the remains somewhere, I'm going to see about getting it restored.
Edit; I know you like to write songs. Now that you have this guitar you should make some Mp3s of your stuff so we can listen to them. ^___^ (Just a suggestion, of course) I think you can get an attachment that lets you plug your guitar into a computer, and there's this program that let's you simulate different amps and effects and stuff. My firend's dad was telling me about it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The saxaphone rocks! It's WAY better than any bass or guitar!
Last year I learned to play "The Pink Panther" on my saxaphone-by ear!

Ho!! Shiny!! This really is a cool one! (Not like my little brother bass... it's yellow and all ugly!)
Heh, I don't really like to play with instrument, I tried some, but I don't have any fun. But I do music! I am my own instrument, I sing! ^^ (My natural talent! I want to be a singer someday! ^^ )
