Note: this post is about spiders. If they make you feel all icky, you might not want to go any further.
Today in my bathroom there was a very big brown spider. Now, my cat is an evil bug-eater, so I scooped it up in a plastic cup and went to go put it outside. When I took a closer look, I saw that the spider had little tiny baby spiders ridding on it's back! ^___^ They were so cute! It really made my day.

*feels ashamed, for she would have squashed the spider immediately* I do like garden spiders though. It's fun to... er... place little buggy passersby into their webs and watch them roll up the meal. Not only that, but the webs they make are often very beautiful. Tarantulas dont bother me either. When I used to live in Oklahoma, we'd catch them in one of our many forests (often near our church) and keep them in a jar for a few days until we let them go again.

I must admit, one of my guilty little pleasure is flicking pillbugs and leather jackets into spider webs and watch them eat them... I like to think that I'm, err, "helping" the spider population and thinning out the pillbug and leather jacket population... Ah, I'm not fooling anyone. It's fun as H-double-hockeystick.

I would have ran out of the room screaming and have gotten Mr.Izzywizard to take care of it for me.

That's a good mommy! They give their children spider-back rides!
I would have trapped it with a tissue and threw it outside.

How could you people possibly crush poor little spiders? That's just as bad as squishing a little gecko or something. Shame on you! But in any case, mummy spider! Yay! And cute little babies!

But what if it Tratranculars(sp?)..VERY POISONOUS.. If I'm not mistaken, a Tarantula bite will only swell up like crazy (unless you're alergic) A girl I went to school with keep those, they were very sweet, and would crawl over your hand! I don't think you can find those in the wild around where I live, though. They're mostly in Mexico/South America, aren't they? I really want a Rose-kneed Tarantula, they've beautiful! They're a soft grey colour with pink on their joints. Around here it's the Black Widows and Brown Recluse that you have to watch out for. I've actually seen a Black Widow before spinning a web. It was scary, but a thrilling and beautiful thing to see!

What I used to do with spiders is squish them... Now I try catching them and setting them free in the wild.
Once, a big hairy spider (about half the size of a tarantula) crawled out of my backpack just as I was getting my homework out... I got my dad to squish it for me, I think.

I watch a documentry saying that lots of people die of Black widows.Theres one survivor of a Black Widow bite and now he is the Black widow's fear! Every night, he sqished any spider he see with his shoe! BAM BAM BAM!!
