Pressies Appreciation Thread

Wahey! Let's all appreciate all the gifts we recieved . . . Erm, I just wanted to look back at all the gifts we recieved (uuugh, excuse me if I get "first" and "gifts" mixed up . . . or if I spell recieve wrong. Blaaah) during random times, birthdays, or holidays ^_^

Okay! So let's start thanking . . .

Aztecarcher (yes! I remember the name ) gave me a shoyru battle sabre, which I use a lot now ^_^ It's not the best weapon in Neopia, but hey! Lappiny has won many battles with it, and I'm very thankful o^^o Thankies, Aztecarcher, if you're out there!

I believe someone gave me a Christmas Paint Brush (which I ended up selling it for 20k by accident -- I thought 20k would be expensive so that no one would buy it. I was so stupid >< ) . . . I thinkie it was Meowth4, but I'm not positively sure. Was it mushroom? No, she gave me something else . . . well, thank you so much, whoever you may be o^^o

And I'd like to thank everybody who gave me stuffies for Christmas or my birthday -- sol_luna_estrella, etc. -- especially to Neotomi who organized it, and to people who wished me a happy birthday o^^o it was a blaaaast!! =D

I'd also like to give a big thanks who allowed me to have all 808 of my palm fans ^_^ Patjade, sol_luna_estrella, Mushroom, kittymae . . . oh wait, same people, rishiy, Jessie . . . *breathes* a_marie_n (Ami-chan), Neotomi . . .

Ami-chan for giving me a lot of random items after I got her a Kau weapon, and to too_kule for giving me a toy for no reason . . . oh, so spiffy and cuuuute!

Andandandandand . . . I'm sure many would like to thank Squirtle for donating to their galleries (thank you!), and I'd like to give a million thanks to Mizukori for everything she's given me. Now I owe her 85k. I'll be right there! *builds up my measily 6k*

How about the people who gave things that were not . . cyber-physical items? Like . . . Mushroom, for helping me in angels . . . angles (=P) in math? Or how about Patjade for welcoming so many people, and felabba for making me feel soooo welcome?

Perhaps Meowth for being so wise, and ember for being so kind . . . sol_luna_estrella for her advice, and the list goes on! ^_^ Thank you, everyone!

Does it have to be Neopets-related?

If so, I'm just going to generally thank everyone here who did (or didn't) give me a wish for a happy birthday this year, it's nice knowing that someone that you don't really know personally cares about something like that

Also a weird kind of present that I consider special to me is just being published in the Neopian Times every once in a while. Hehe. It just makes me feel good inside in a weird present-like way.

For things outside of Neopets / online life, there's a very long list.. but I'll shorten it up a bit.

When I was four years old, I recieved a puppy on Christmas Eve. All I remember is waking up, and I looked at my door knob where my stocking was, and I saw a tiny little golden retriever, with a bow on his head, sleeping blissfully by himself. I was mad at my mother because I thought he would've died from being in there, but after I learned he was alright, we became exceptionally close. Unfortunately I don't have my dog anymore, but he was a really great present.

My grandmother sewed me lots of little stuffed animals and dresses before she died 6 years ago. I cherish them all because they remind me of her, and now that she is gone they're my most precious gifts I've recieved.

One birthday, I think I was turning ten (I was celebrating "double digits") my parents took me to T.G.I.F (a resturant) and there I was greeted by a whole bunch of family and friends. It was really a great feeling.

In lighter terms, I'm quite in love with my gamesystem, my motor scooter, my guinea pig I recieved two Christmases ago, and other things like that. There's really too many to mention.

Yeah! Lots of pressies . . .

Once my mom saved my life. My brother and cousins and I were playing hide-and-seek about three years ago, and my brother got me under a shelf in the cuboard thingy (it was really down there because I was small, and it was built in the house, soo . . . ) and I couldn't open the door (amazing that I could even reach it!!). I was banging on it and then my mom opened it. ;-; I'm so grateful.
