For the past month or so, I have been neglecting my weekly duty of mowing the lawn, and as you coud have guessed, my backyard lawn was was quite long, but for once I found mowing the lawn to be a very good thing. I was grumbling to myself as I pushed the heavy lawn mower across the yard, but then halfway through, I saw something move from under the lawnmower, and I jumped up *turning off the lawnmower* with a yelp as I saw it was a snake.
It isn't that I am afraid of snakes, for I am actually partial to them and other reptiles, but the fact that there are a lot of rattlesnakes where I live. However, I got a closer look at the snake, and saw that it was a baby black and yellow kingsnake. I quickly caught it, and carried it inside to be used as a surprise for my mom who had lost her class pet, a 4-foot black and yellow kinsnake too, earlier this year. We has also caught him, and raised him up to that size, so this snake will probally become a new pet of ours^^
Well, that is it for my message *which i typed with only one hand as the kingsnake is on my other hand... erm, biting me at the moment... Heh, I guess that my only request will be to name the thing when my mom gets back. She'd probally name him King2 after our old snake...

Thats great! Its nice mowing the lawn can help you find a new pet. ^_^
I hope your new snake is a happy snake, and I'm really glad you didn't run over him with your mower.
I caught a snake as a pet once, but it was just a little garder snake.
