Wowzers, it's been a while since I've last posted here. Apparently my profile says I'm an ancient fogey around here now? Boy how times flies.
Anyway, for those of you who weren't around when I was last on the forum, hi! I'm Sporty... That is, sporty2443 on Neopets. Don't judge, I made that account when I was very smol and I'm way too attached to it now to switch to a main account with a better name, haha. I somewhat recently returned to Neo from a long hiatus after being enticed by the promise of a new plot, and have since been getting back into the swing of writing for the Neopian Times (and, y'know, doing the plot). I've actually got the second and final part of a series in the Times now, which is kind of wild because it's a story that I wanted to write back before my hiatus and it had seemed like that one was doomed to the backburner forever. I write other things, too; in fact, I'm getting ready to self-publish my first book soon! (It's a long short story/short novelette, so not all that long for a book, but hey, gotta start somewhere).
For those of you who do remember me, I am so, so sorry that I up and disappeared years back. I was going through a lot at the time and couldn't keep up with forum stuff anymore, but it was one of those awkward situations where it didn't look like it would be too much at first and then everything just kept piling up and I felt too guilty to come back and say anything. Now that I'm back in the writing and Neopets grooves again, though, this seemed like a good time to start over!
