A place for me to link/post/share various writings - mostly fanworks, but I guess we'll see how it goes.
NOTE: I try to keep my works so that, in a way, they at least could be considered family-friendly. However, they also involve a level of maturity that isn't based on a particular age. Much of this stems from a belief that anyone and everyone can, and should, discuss deep, even dark topics, but you don't need explicit content to do so.
That, and having spent a lot of time in a community of writers that's based in a family-friendly community. XDDD (And, well, religious reasons. ^_^; )
But yeah, age-ratings are based on general recommendations, reflecting the general type of content involved in the story. Regardless of rating and topic, I try to avoid approaching things in a crass way~
NOTE2: I'm using the term "Content Advisory" instead of "Trigger Warning(s)" because, speaking from experience, it can be annoying to feel like you have to be "warned" about content that you're actually searching for. I think this term is more-neutral, and still accomplishes the idea/intent.
Advisories will generally be in spoiler boxes.
(This is a quick post for now - I may add some more polish/details later. More detail added, but might still polish more, later.)
Broken: an old, short-story fanfic based on Steven Universe. Light levels of theory (as they were at the time). Heavy on the feels. VERY spoiler.
Quick content advisory:

Upbringing: Longer-form fanfic based on Hollow Knight, focussing on Hornet. Supposed to be spoiler-lateral: in other words, regardless of whether you read the 'fic or play the game first, you should still be able to enjoy things to about the same degree - in ways, they kind of have spoilers for each-other.
Has some darker elements (a la Hollow Knight). Was rushed because I expected Silksong to come out shortly (as it goes...), and I wanted to get it published first - as such, it's a bit NaNoWriMo'd. I tried adjusting the first few chapters, and then burnout caught up with me before I got to the rest. ^_^;
archiveofourown.org/works/31050398
Experience: WIP Fanfic based on a more-recent, not-as-well-known indie game called Deceive Inc - a game that I found myself enjoying despite it being a combination of genres I usually do NOT play! =O
I'm trying to write it so that basically anyone could understand it. (I enjoy this game and I think it deserves more attention. =3)
Since the cast is VERY internationally-diverse, I found myself reading up on UK-EN dialect stuff and getting a couple native-speaker proofreaders to help. "Separated by a common language" ended up being one of the themes. XDDD (Yes, it's more-intense than in the source material - I decided to keep it that way for luls, possible educational reasons, and other stuff that I'm not 100% I can remember all of ATM.)
Content level should be similar to the stuff you can expect from the game (which is T-rated, BTW - it's an FPS, but not gory, more goofy =3)

EDIT - Now Mirrored on Skiff Drive (sans Author Notes): app.skiff.com/docs/423d5dab-98a0-4c3b-9a00-3b9fcc2c370d#Ay1kXvV%2Bze8ZsQIh4wndFXi%2FV7ohNOv65xqKE%2BF7184%3D

Quick content advisory:
The main subject is loss and grief. It's written about in first-person, exclusively focusing on the character's inner thoughts.

Content advisories (WIP):
General (rough):
Since it's based on an spy-oriented FPS, this story naturally involves weapons (esp. guns) and combat. BUT! It's kept light on the details.
General mishaps in interactions due to characters being imperfect.
Dialect-differences (and some cultural differences) also impact communication and interaction, resulting in occasional mishaps and whatnot. I try to keep this respectful.
Character imperfections include emotional health struggles and similar.
Laughter tends to show, even in cases where it might not be appropriate.
I wouldn't call it imperfections, per sé, but one character shows subtler, and often less-known signs of ADHD.
The mission is basically to steal something, even if it seems like it's for good reasons.
Also, while this isn't technically an LGBT+ story, two characters have they/them pronouns used for them, and one uses plural pronouns for first-person usage.

Chapter 1:
Biggest:
When startled, one character briefly pulls a gun on another. There's no threats made, nor shots fired.
Smaller:

Smaller:
One agent forgets about personal space (hugger).
One character's newcomer status is used as a pseudo-insult.
The leader sort of... subtly pressures/coerces a character to comply with certain (not immoral or anything) factors of an assignment. (It's not exactly a threat, not exactly an insult... I'm not sure what you'd call it.)
One character opts not to bring up a personal trigger.

Chapter 2 - There's not much in this chapter that might be considered objectionable/triggering/etc., but regardless...
One character shows some pretty big signs of anxiety near the beginning.
A gun is brought attention to, in passing.
Again, the mission basically involves theft - this will be a theme.
Characters take (possibly steal) unattended food.
One character is sort of a captive audience for a while (not for anything inherently-objectionable, and only the tail end of it is shown).
A character basically tries, and fails, to avoid getting passive-aggressive.
Some bad lying to try (and fail) to cover up anxiety.
One character comments on something he wasn't meant to hear. (This will be repeated in future chapters.)
One character may-or-may-not be trying to get under another character's skin, just a little bit (it's left ambiguous).
Generally-subtler signs of ADHD get started.
There is a dad joke. =U

Chapter 3:
General (vague - not so spoiler):
This chapter involves telling a story of going through a not-so-great time (physically, generally based on survival) and various struggles involved, as well as a brief scare during training. Everything is told through character narration, and generally doesn't get very specific.
Moderate (main points that could potentially be troubling - moderately spoiler):
Granular (basically anything that I thought COULD be considered objectionable/triggering, includes stuff from moderate level list - very spoiler):

Moderate (main points that could potentially be troubling - moderately spoiler):
Characters steal food from an unattended café.
Use of weapons (referenced, not at-present), as sport, for survival, and also for combat (also mostly for survival).
Inferred bullying.
Loose references related to general survival requirements (and some struggle).
References to injuries, blood, later scarring. Possibility of future complications from an injury.
Results of animal abuse/experimentation (doesn't go into detail, just inferred to not be good) + trafficking.
Self-defense against said animal is described, including tactics, and a couple injuries inflicted against it.
Not related to the above, the word "kill" is briefly used, non-aggressively.
Some parental controlling behaviors are mentioned (non-aggresive - could be considered accidental neglect by some definitions).
Dehydration/heat exhaustion.

Granular (basically anything that I thought COULD be considered objectionable/triggering, includes stuff from moderate level list - very spoiler):
Characters have stolen food from an unattended café.
Target shooting with non-combat guns.
Character is inferred to have been forcefully separated from a group by bullies; pushed into a pond. Search rescuers later misdirected...
Loose references related to general survival requirements (and some struggle), including food and shelter.
References to getting injuries: a non-specific injury on a hand, possibly scarred; a scratch from a badger, inferred to have been bleeding; a bigger scratch that has definitely since scarred over.
A single loud, but distant gunshot is heard.
Reference to animals being experimented on (heavily modified) and sold - no endangered animals are referenced or implied. It's inferred that the animals were left far worse off. Animal specifically featured is not given an exact species, but said to be a large, clawed mammal - probably a cat. Repeatedly referred to as a "beast."
Combat for survival against one of the modified animals, which struck first and is apparently aggressive. Details including:
* Injury sustained on character's back from animal claws - possibility of future complications from injury.
* Fighting off the animal with a sport gun, makeshift fishing spear, almost with a pocket knife.
* The animal is specifically mentioned as losing an eye to a bullet, having a spear stuck in its side.
* Another character intervenes and stops the animal. Details are non-specific.
* Another modified animal is inferred to have been taken down by the distant gunshot mentioned earlier.
Character passes out from shock/adrenaline running out, and blood loss.
A character is inferred - but not directly quoted - as having said something like "If I wanted to kill you, I would've done it already."
It's not specific whether a character didn't get much food, or just not good-tasting food during survival period.
Referenced parent character being somewhat controlling out of worry. Had to be persuaded to let control go, though how is unknown by character narrating.
Heat exhaustion, possibly made worse by dehydration.
Characters begin to have a tea/coffee debate, but quickly decide to let leave the topic be.
Some light insults(/pseudo-insults?).
