RIP: Sour Gummy Worms by peanutbuttermilk
Funny that she doesn't even try to deny her crimes, at most she just acts sheepish about them lol. On the one hand I'd make a comment on the low standards they have for new hires, but on the other they are a pirate crew, so I suppose it makes sense that they'd bring on those with a rougher edge. I love her design as well, a candy Hissi wearing bone plate armor- also love the grim detail that those bones belong to somebody else (or multiple somebodies) xD
Window Shopper by ingvani
Funny little word play, and I'm sure after how long she's worked there, that's just how the clothing Uni keeps herself entertained lol. The Xweetok's little swagger in the shop is great, and I love the shapes of the character designs overall. That is a pretty snazzy shirt, and I'd likely be tempted to try it on myself if I could. The logo made for the title is also cool, love little details like that that go above and beyond.
Under the Weather... by st1nkz and neoskulltula
Ooh love the art style of this one, very clean and appealing. The camera flip between the first two panels is a bit jarring to read, but it's not terrible or anything of course. This is also a funny escalation of the Mira dropping stuff joke, that it's actually all part of a secret shady deal with Big Medicine xD I feel like the punchline might be a bit lost on those not familiar with that random event, but to be fair it's a common subject matter in the Times comic section, so perhaps that's not a huge concern.
Not So Anonymous... by mespirit95
I appreciate the artist showing the full screenshot to give context on what part of the site we're talking about, but then zooming in on the most important detail in the second panel. Sometimes comics may just show the first kind of screenshot, and you have to go hunting to figure out what part of it is relevant to the story.
Feels like a classic sibling relationship, which I imagine can happen if you've had the same babysitter for long enough lol. I'm always a fan of art styles that keep the outside lines of a figure black, but all the interior lines are colored. It gives a very soft look, which is fitting for these whimsical and cheery character designs.

Ooh yay, always good to see this series continued! Nurri is back again traveling, although I wonder if it's for any particular reason. Looks like it might be in the Lost Desert somewhere? And lol, if you don't want stray animals to follow you, definitely the last thing you do is feed them. Looks like you've got a new companion Nurri, it's just a matter of when you accept that fact haha.

I've already seen a number of people talking about this comic, and for good reason. The amount of storytelling it accomplishes in two panels is great, and it gives a great laugh. In the first panel, I love the drag marks from the hammer, the sheer difference in size between it and the Gruslen, the proudest look on the Gruslen's face, and just how beautifully rendered everything is. And then the sudden art shift to the second panel along with the math meme solidifies the punchline. Great work overall!
Aboard the Coincidence by romina_r and krowkano
Haha, it's always fun when people turn their personal experiences on the site into comics, and this is a clever way to portray two random events that happen at once. Funny that Baelia of all people is the reason the Gnorbu wasn't able to open the box on the other side of the portal, she better make it up to them by calling on the Rainbow Fountain Faerie when she gets that Tenna lol.
On the subject of screenshots in comics again, this is a case where I wish the RE's were better incorporated into the comic format so they'd be more readable. Thankfully there's no wall of text here like I've seen in some past comics, but the text still ends up small and slightly blurry, and there's no indication on where the reader should put their eyes. Makes it easier to skim over that section of the comic, which can lead to some lost context that detracts from the punchline.
Outside of that section, though, I do think the original art panels are well laid out and understandable. There's a lot of fun, dynamic angles that contribute to the comic's zany energy, so by the last panel that and the characters' big expressions still lead to a funny conclusion!
Faellie Tales 03: Again, Again! by coco6468
I like to imagine the yellow Faellie brought that book out purely out of spite, and they knew exactly what it would once opened lol. The ghosts are at leave very cute looking! Who knows, maybe they're just excited to play with somebody now that they've been freed. The little silent moment of the book opening, only to cut to chaos, is a good comedy beat. I also like that the ghost explosion uses the same composition as a previous panel to show this energy shift.
Adventures of Neopia Central - How Hungry? by deadchialiveson
Lol, I appreciate the use of an irl meme by fully incorporating it into Neopia. Had I not known what the real life meme was, I'm not sure if I would've fully understood the joke, as I don't as quickly think "horse" when I see a Uni. But I think the art sells the drama of the last panel, and the expression alone can get a laugh.
Kiko Komics by dollcollector
Lol this reminds me of a customization you can actually do with the Maraquan Kiko: remove their shell, and then use eyes, mouth, and hair be gone, and you're left with just a white orb. I'm sure there are some people who have taken advantage of this and made some creative customs with it xD
The name Body Be-Gone does evoke some funny mental images, and I remember being
when it first released and before I played around with it in Dress to Impress. Poor Kikos always getting the short end of the stick, what a nightmare if this was actually what Body Be-Gone did to them lol.
Something has Happened! - Jubusul by jjensen687
Now if this were some lower-quality YA romance story, that would be used as an indicator that the two characters would end up as lovers lol. But in the context of Neopia and knowing just where plushies like that come from, I'd be rather nervous myself just stumbling upon that xD; A minor typo in the RE box (should be "have" instead of "has"), but other than that it's a nice simple comic with good art and a fun poke at the strangeness of Neopia!
Full Safety Deposit Box by prulletje1852
Lool I can only imagine the horrors peoples' SDBs would be were they actual spaces you could visit. The amount of stuff piled up, the food left for ages, the potential live animals wandering everywhere, etc. I'm glad the SDB is one of the few places I can toss things aside and leave indefinitely without consequence haha. I also love the Shoyru's concerned little face in the last panel xD
