Ah, thank you for the review
Nut! What a nice surprise! And thank you to all who liked my post as well.
I guess I can explain that elsewhere some people and I were discussing, like, not even getting feedback from our creative Neopets works, but even getting a reaction at all. The thing is, the Neopian Times doesn't allow for quick likes or whatever. So I had the somewhat silly idea of creating a post in the Discussion thread like the one I made. And I'd say it was effective, actually! There were a lot of people who reacted, when I thought that comic was maybe a bit of a dud for a few weeks there. Not that it bothered me, I didn't put my greatest effort into it. Just kind of had written it off as a try better next time sort of thing.
It's kind of a weird thing, I don't necessarily expect a lot of feedback from a published simple comic. I can't go back and change anything about it, at least. But it is nice to have that acknowledgement that hey, yeah, it's liked. Hence creating a post for people to like my comic. I think I'll start doing that more, actually. Detailed reviews are much appreciated, but not expected or required.
Anyway, sorry for the aside,
Nut, I very much appreciate your review, very kind.
Ah, you like their dot faces, nice! They get called cute a lot, haha. I've a simplified style, so hat blob is probably more accurate than Meerca for Wanmei, but if you're curious, now you know! Speckled is Yibit, a Zafara with ears that look more like Blumaroo's but I've been drawing her that way far too long to change now. And the pink one is a Pink Kacheek named Dorothy.
Jill is the rainbow Cybunny. I don't know that I buy the theory that each hair is also multi-colored, but it could be true, some animal fur is like that.
Had a funny thought, what if each hair is the same version of multi-colored, and the Rainbow 'pet just trims each section of hair to a different length to get that rainbow effect? Way too much work, but imagine!
With all the different species and colors out there, I just can't help but think IDing a perp would be that much easier in Neopia. Hence the comic.
