That wreath looks so good and well constructed! <3 I don't think it's too extra at all. It gives the right kind of flair. If you think it fits your work door, I'm all for it. (Office spaces could use extra personality anyway. xP )
re: other post: At least I'm not alone on "free time video game but what do." xP And true! (Heh, I like how you phrased it as "just walk away." xD I didn't intend it to be long. Just "eh, I'll go down the road. Hmm, maybe I'll explore? Ooh, what's this way..."
There's a few houses in this (temporary) area that are decorated! Gradually more all the time. Will probably be the same for the other neighborhood where I'll have a rental (not lease time yet). Dunno if they do trick or treating though, or if they'll go to my little corner, lol. And yeah, even if it doesn't go as planned, can still work out something good. <3
Ahh, yeah, I notice families are picky at where they trick or treat. I don't blame them (playing it safe for the kids, and also more houses), but then it's a rare neighborhood where I get to be involved in trick or treating. </3 But true, my work also is okay with costumes! Sounds like you have a fair share of opportunities. =D If you go to one, may you have fun!

If you participate in forum Trick or Treat or plan to, start thinking about houses et. al.
I plan to open the board soon, I'm just trying to figure out what's a reasonable timespan and then when to start it.
I could start it late on the 22nd (thus making it technically open on the 23rd), and then go until October 2nd?

I got some chocolate on sale for whenever the neighborhood kids come to visit Last year, three of them dropped by. If not many come, then... more chocolate for me x3

All the previous apartments I've been at have never had trick or treaters, much as I'd like to play spooky host. Parents' house is also a bad spot for trick-or-treaters.
I'm not sure if people will trick or treat in my upcoming neighborhood, or if they'll go to my little segment even if they do. Ironically, the temporary place I'm staying at where my stay expires before Halloween... looks like a prime trick-or-treating spot with a bunch of neighboring kids. Nearly every house here is decked to the nines in Halloween stuff. Alas at me not being here for that. x'D
I'll probably get some chocolates too in case they do come by. I guess I'll eat them if they don't show up, but I wonder if I really need that much candy. xP Well, maybe I can donate it to the work candy bin.
Won't be buying any till after my move because I don't need one more thing to move around in a place where my car gets hot. I'll probably end up having to buy hiked-up-priced candy because of it, but that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

I would have been curious to find out what this place is like for trick-or-treaters. We do have a lot of kids living around here. However, this place is an apartment complex, so trick-or-treating would be harder.
...but it's a moot point anyway, because we are away for Halloween. xD;;

We haven't gotten trick or treaters in over a decade. No candy for us.

Man, all of us missing out on Halloween funtimes due to circumstances or poor location. (Because I doubt I'll do much Halloween celebration anyway due to transitional life circumstances.)
Maybe we could have a forum event to help fill the gap-- Wait, waitaminute that's literally what ToT is. Nevermind. I'm a dummy.

I took off work Halloween afternoon, so I can take my five-year-old cousin to a local trick-or-treat event that afternoon. Should be fun.

Gives a little over a week for houses, which would likely be appreciated for those that do extended roleplays!

We've moved flats it's been 5 days and half the boxes are still full of stuff. It's impressive how quickly we packed and how slowly we unpack
