Hi there!~ I am just looking for some feedback as I stumbled upon an old comic I drew about 11 years ago and never really did anything with it. I decided to re-draw for the upcoming 'sea' edition but wonder if it's still funny? I am not the greatest at pun jokes but am kinda stuck on the last panel.... old comic: re-drawn: Any feedback is greatly appreciated!~ Elfa

I think it's cool that you're picking up this comic again after so long! The art is good on the original, but I can also see the improvement on the redrawn version.
I guess I'll ask, what is your goal on the last panel?

Hi June, thanks for stopping by!~ The goal is: -have a pet looking down on the DON challenger - Slug Monster and saying something witty about their size... In the original comics the slug monster is portrayed as a HUGe SNAIL.. so I was kinda going on the reversed there

Ooh, that's so cool that you're reviving an old comic idea, as well as the update in art between the two! =D
If you were planning to still have him say "GO AWAY," one idea that popped into my head was a zoom out of the slug monster and Meerca again, with the former's dialogue suddenly too quiet to be comprehensible, and the Meerca commenting "It makes such cute noises!" or the like. Kind of like a kitten trying to be intimidating, only to severely backfire haha.

I say keep it simple, and have the normal-sized character comment something about how "small and cute" the slug is. I think the key thing is to use the word "small," or something related, to drive home the point that it's small.
To use Twillie's example, I would add something like, "It makes such cute little noises, the tiny thing."
