"There was a feeling of ease, of peace that the siblings had little experience with growing up during the Great Meridell Wars (although the Citadel preferred to call them “The Orb Wars.”) Seeing that peace for themselves, it almost seemed surreal, as if someone had trapped them in a dream and only showed them their most fervent wishes. Serian looked especially uncomfortable, picking at his jacket whenever a stray petal stuck to the surface."

Hoping to find more time in the next few days to take a longer look at the written entries, but figured I would go ahead and take a look at the Comics from this past issue.

***I had printed Watching Petals by parody_ham, but then I realized it seemed to be a continuation of Caught Between Kingdoms - which is on my To Read list for series that came out while I was on hiatus. Would it be worth trying to read the whole series before reading this story?

Paint Brush Cross Word Puzzle [PUZZLE] by yorterry, pandora, and taeelia
This was an interesting idea. I printed out the crossword so I could take the time to fill in all of the answers, and in doing so I noticed two things that may have been forgotten:

1. There was no hint for #14, but based on the letters, I believe the answer is Royal?
This was a really interesting concept.

2. There are not enough spaces for the Camouflage Paint Brush. I imagine the space for the "u" was what is missing.

As someone who only returned to the site a couple of months ago, after a 2-3 year hiatus, I have to say, this comic managed to capture my feelings, while also reminding me how sad I am about this.

Bad Idea, Dude: Pranks by fluffy_bumbkin
I really loved this comic. I though the artwork was great, and the pranks all made me smile! The greyscale background was simple, but effective. And I laughed when I saw the Water Faerie's facial expression.

I haven't tried feeding the Kadoaties many times before, but this explains a lot.

I thought this comic was very cute. The little muscles on the Usul in the fourth panel were a nice touch. The number Eo Codestones in the first panel looks expensive.

I am always a sucker for quality Paint artwork. The detail in the artwork here was really nice, especially with the advertisement.

Unfortunately my peanut brain has no idea how to solve this puzzle.

The Pea Chia in the first panel was super adorable, but my favorite part was how well the comic subverted my expectations. I haven't read Parts 1 or 2, but this still stands on its own.

I don't think words can express how beautiful the artwork in this comic is, at least not any words that I have. Simply amazing! Though I feel somewhat personally attacked by the premise of the joke.

Another comic that has managed to attack me. I The handrawn artwork is incredibly fun, and that little Grundo is super cute!

The artwork was super good and the backgrounds were really nice. Plus I am a
lways impressed whenever anyone draws an Ogrin. The Weewoo's black eye was a nice touch.

The Space Faerie Rocks! by emmakrakoka
I loved the artstyle here. The nice thick lines, the clean backgrounds, and the shadow forming around the Shoyru as the bed falls out of the sky. The Space Faeries expression is classic!

The Wrong Slushie Flavour by dendeus_271, iam_puma_master, and hasse_li_37
The artwork was nice and clean and the use of facial expressions was really well done. I love the commentary on actual current Neopian events. Happier still that TNT is allowing players to poke fun at the glitches.

I loved the smirk on the Zafara's face, would have loved to see more of your artwork in the comic, but just because you spoiled me with such a good looking Zafara!

I loved how clean this comic looked, but I am only somewhat sure I understand the joke. But as I said to the creators of Goparokko's Dilemma! - I have a peanut brain.
