Above the isolated valley of Barovia looms Castle Ravenloft. Home to the vampiric Count Strahd von Zarovich, this dread castle has hosted countless battles between its undead residents and whatever band of adventurers has most recently ventured forth to storm the place.
On this chill dark night, a new band of adventurers journey forth. Although they come from very different backgrounds, even different worlds; they are all united in their understanding of one simple goal:
Strahd must die.
Greetings all! I will soon be DMing a level 8 D&D 5E one-shot called Strahd Must Die Tonight. In this adventure, a party must explore Castle Ravenloft and kill Strahd in a single session. This thread is for the party to discuss the game, their characters; share hypothetical art of said characters, post memes about the game, funny screenshots from Roll20 or...whatever other stuff comes up as relevant!
Strahd Must Die Tonight stars: Draco as The Barbarian, Yoru Valentine! Celestial as The Cleric, Cerys Greywing! Thundy as The Rogue, Steven! Liou as The Paladin, Aarabog! Moni as The Fighter, Arnold!
A year has passed since the events of Strahd Must Die Tonight. Strange things are afoot at Castle Ravenloft, where its undead count conducts horrific experiments in isolation. Our heroes gather together once more and set out to investigate.
One night. Three artifacts. Five heroes.
Whatever their intentions, the party know deep in their hearts that on this night: STRAHD MUST DIE AGAIN!
*Yoru triple-checking his list to ensure he was actually supposed to collect debts from 'Strahd von Zarovich' this time. *Arnold and Aarabog comparing Strahd's constant cycle of life and death to an evil menstrual cycle. *The party finding Cerys being accused of witchcraft by villagers. *Cerys and Asher, a young elf who was raised at the same temple as her, arguing like siblings.
The archmage Tasha has hidden Tatiana far beyond Ravenloft. However, the lord of Barovia is nothing if not persistent. With Strahd now on his way to abduct the young woman, Tasha sends the ultimate request out to the multiverse’s greatest debt collector: make the ancient repay the land what he owes, having spilled his blood here long ago for a promise of guardianship never fulfilled.
One night. Five heroes. Strahd Must Die...and this time, it must be final. (Sunday 15th, 8:00 UTC)
