Bookstore job didn't go through. Neither did a tech job that came up. And with that, I'm out. Done with job searching, at least for the next six months or so. I figure I'll focus on this Geekify writing project while continuing to work at the hospital part time.
Yard work continues to be a thing. Planted a little eatable food/herb garden in an old leaky wash tub, and a couple flowers as well elsewhere.
Been a little hard to focus on stuff lately. Things like work and yards and sleep take up so much time, it's hard to find time for other things. I start topics and then don't reply to them. I get books from the library and never even start them. I don't know.

I took my time and truly savored highlighting Soft Glow on my list and clicking the strikethrough tool! \ o / Yes, IT IS DONE AT LAST. Obligatory link to my very long art post~ The other day I tried to compact the post a little with different spoilerboxes, in a vain attempt to make it less HUGE. XD The moral of the story is that even though maybe it helped motivate me to finish Soft Glow (so I could post it all together), I prrrrobably should have crossposted the Artober stuff as its own post months ago. XD Ah well. I suppose in the spirit of my Wrighton character, a monsterpost it shall remain. <3 you all. <3 I also finally got back to reading Beverly, Right Here, and I finished it yesterday! It was lovely. <3 I don't remember what originally happened that distracted me from finishing it, but it's the sort of book where you just let the poetry-like prose wash over you, and let your emotions just be. Few authors can make me cry quite like Kate DiCamillo. And this book in particular will always make me think of the person who bought it for me. <3 And now, I can go find DiCamillo's newest book.

Spring is over, Summer is here!
I feel like I didn't accomplish that much in the past three months, honestly. I finished up a few projects that I had long ago started, and made progress towards existing projects, and started new projects too. I don't know, maybe I need to get in the habit of better documenting what I do again. There's been times I've kept track of what I do better than what I am currently doing. I have a new planner due to come in on Thursday, maybe I'll start there.

Happy official summer!
So, spring cleaning wrap-up... As far as my list, I actually did awesome! I got to cross off basically everything I wrote down (except for "stay healthy," which is always ongoing). And that feels great! \ o / On the other hand, I feel like if I'd thought to put a lot of other things on the list, it wouldn't look quite as shiny. xD (I stiiiiiill should fix up the calendar on the fridge, make my bedroom habitable, do moar emails, et cetera.)
But I think overall, it was nice and refreshing to only have the more immediate things on my list, rather than All The Things I'd Like To Do Eventually At Some Point Maybe Hopefully Please. I got some art done, some household errands done, a bunch of card gifts done, and, again, I finally!! finished!! Soft Glow!!! *victory dance*
So yeah, thank you for hosting, June! And best of luck to all of us as we continue to try to finish various things! \ o / You got this. <3
