...because for all my yammering about D&D, I realised we don't have a fan club like this. At least, not an active one. And I thought it would be nice to have a place to chatter about the various games we enjoy, both NTWF and beyond! D&D, Pathfinder, Fate, Cortex, Vampire the Masquerade, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay...whatever floats your boat.  

Anyway! To get things started, some ttrpg news I am personally very excited for. =D

-New Feywild adventure for D&D 5E! And announcements from WotC for the rest of this week about other coolthings (one of them was already spoiled by Amazon though, haha.)

-Tales of Xadia! Will I play nothing but dark mages and moonshadow elves? Probably! My friend is gifting me the core rulebook when it releases, I'm super excited for that. The current premade PCs are really nice too, I think my fave is Ponmalar. Or else Draylenn!

Cool rpg event just starting!!!

Cortex Creator Confab (twitter announcement here)- I'm very excited for this one! I adore Cortex as a system, and since this isn't a competition as such it feels pretty chill. Also, it's a setting design challenge, which is all of the fun!!! The theme has already been announced (Weather), so I've been brainstorming for this ten-day challenge a bit today. 

Everyone who submits an entry is given someone else's entry to review, plus every submitted entry gets a playtest period- very exciting to me!!

Spelljammer was confirmed for D&D 5E! Basically, space ships and sci fi are on the horizon. Woo!

Also Tales of Xadia has finally been released and is available for purchase! I think the friend who was gonna buy it for me...forgot he'd promised to do that, but that's okay. xD

I am very hype for Spelljammer. I really want to try running a campaign in that setting. Have to get the books first, mind you.

I'm definitely getting these ones. This box set and Monsters of the Multiverse are my DEFINITELY YES!!!! D&D purchases for this year, hehe.
