Avery, you might not remember, but I ran a comic script by you in 2015, and I FINALLY drew it five and a half years later!! x'D I hope you like! ^^ (Major Medieval spoilers to those who haven't read it, or maybe it just won't make much sense without context.)  (I fixed a big mistake on the computer, but hopefully you can't tell!) I also finished a second NTWF drawing thing, but I'd probably ramble a textwall, so I'll save that for a future post in my art thread instead. xD And last month or so, I finally figured out how I want to display my writing samples on my website--I'm gonna illustrate them and use the drawings to make tidy thumbnail links. So here's something for a really old Richard II essay.  I dipped fallen maple leaves in watercolor to stamp them on the paper, and then used pen. (This was supposed to be one of those quick weird art projects, but then I made three leaf-stamps and then agonized for days over which was best and how to design and finalize this one and such. x'D) Only nine more days of October! Let's see how many pencil drawings on my list I can do before month's end??

Day #24: Wings  I wasn't satisfied with yesterday's drawing. Sloppy and rushed. This one looks much better to me. Again, still not perfect, but I'm glad I revisited this. |

Day #26: Fairy  I wanted to take a darker / creepier / weirder path with today's prompt because fairies and other fey creatures can be really dark and weird in folklore. So that's what I did. I used an orchid mantis as sort of inspiration for my weirder fairy creature and I think it paid off. |

Day #27: Angel/Demon  I had a really fun idea for a "fall from grace" a few years ago and I even attempted to draw it back then. However, younger me didn't know how to properly draw it. I don't have the original sketch, unfortunately. Anyway, today's prompt was angel/demon and I immediately thought of that old idea. I did change up some things, mainly the angle of the drawing since the original was just a boring side view, but the idea holds true. I still need work on foreshortening. However, I made progress and today showed me that I've since gotten a lot better at it. ^^ |
