I don't have a lot of references for my non-Neopet characters, although I could upload some if you'd prefer to draw people, so just let me know! All the references I have right now are in my thread, although some probably need re-uploading. But you're welcome to draw whatever looks like it would be most enjoyable to you. Also, what level of detail were you thinking for this trade in terms of color and background? Simple? Detailed?
Anyway, I don't mind drawing Neopets, I do find that fun! I asked because I personally don't really have any Neo characters that I'm very attached to -- I mean, of course my pets will always have a special place in my heart, but I never really developed them much, nor gave them unique character designs, so I wouldn't be able to give you much in the form of references for them. ^^; If you'd still find it fun to draw them, I have a royalgirl Uni, a plushie Kacheek, or an origami Shoyru. I'd be happy to get art of any of them!
Other than that, I have a couple D&D characters I love. There's Dahlia, who is my halfling cleric. She's very friendly and bubbly and sweet, and also a nerdy bookworm. And then there's Alyx, who is my human rogue (but more specifically Arcane trickster, which is a subclass that lets her use wizard spells). She is tough and a little reckless. She doesn't have much respect for the rules and follows her own, but she's very loyal and protective of her friends.

As for the level of detail, to be honest, backgrounds are definitely one of biggest art weaknesses, so I'd rather keep the background simple, but I do enjoy coloring and shading, if that's okay with you!

Also, wow! Your DnD characters are lovely! I'd be happy to draw Dahlia, or Alyx, or both of them (since that seems to be what I'm doing with my other trades? Haha.)I struggle with backgrounds, too, so there probably won't be much in the way of a detailed scene, and I'm fine if you decide not to include a background at all! Either way, I can't wait to see what you come up with!
