The only thing keeping Neopia safe from these extraterrestrials is the ever vigilant Space Faerie. The Virtupets Space Station keeps records of these encounters and how the Space Faerie combated the threat. These are just a select array of these files from what is known as "The Space Faerie Folder". (Held over)

morethanfairytales: The Cosmic Cheese Caper, There is nothing Andromeda the Ghost Kau wants more than a fresh batch of Cosmic Cheese Stars. Well, cheese stars and the chance to prove herself to her cantankerous boss, the infamous Gargarox Isafuhlarg of Grundos Cafe. To do both, she just needs to steal a space jet, sneak onto the Kreludor moon, and pilfer some Full Moon Cheese from the rival Cafe Kreludor. How hard could that be? (WIP)

Type of entry: Series
Short description: YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT THIS IS but for bookkeeping's sake...I'm going to AU my universe. Massive spoilers for NQII follow but this game has been out for actual years so I doubt that it matters, but nevertheless, for players who still want to play the game blind...

I'm going to follow the NQII cutscenes which establish that the entire game takes place in a simulation after ignoring them for years. Which means I'm gonna be talking about the NQII brigade as a space crew and AUing two of my own characters into the mix - Reuben, Rohane's older brother, and Reynold, their father. Reuben is now an expert technician and hacker who tries to crack the simulation and save his brother and the others from hurtling on autopilot into the nearest star, while Reynold is an old general from their fleet who inserts a rescue program into the simulation before his death in the form of "Father's Sword". Only Reuben has the key to activate that program in the direst of situations.

Though it's all a simulation, some of it is based on reality. Like that part with Rohane's mom. Just sayin'.

Galaxy brain moment? Galaxy brain moment. Cosmic pun not intended.

Hmm, I'm not sure if a series that I'm currently writing would be related to the cosmic, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I will spoil the plot out of necessity

The series in question has portals, with multiple Neopias being involved, including my AU version of Neopia, where the majority of the action takes place. The plot is loosely based off of this game

I haven't figured out a title yet but my story is about a uni escaping a strange void with no memory. He ends up in a field that was once the sight of a space battle. The story takes place on Neopia and everything space related is merely spoken about after the fact. I'm not sure if it's cosmic enough since it takes place solely on Neopia.

(I didn't use spoiler tags because I left out any of the twists in the story.)

I like that idea! It has a lot of potential for cosmic type imagery.

I'm debating between something about the stars, try something completely new and make a story based on KD or VP... *shrug* Haven't the foggiest what I'm going to write about as of yet, but hopefully soon?



I may end up linking a bunch of people who have expressed interest in previous collabs (at least the last 5 since those are more recent) to let everyone know that we're back for another round.

Carolyn When do you want to start advertising on the Neoboards? I'm wiling to keep up threads on the Neopian Writers and Art Chat. Maybe see if anyone else is willing to volunteer keeping tabs on a thread or two as well. Advertising is probably the hardest part, at least for me, but it really helps get the word out there.
