So I'm on Rank 10 and enjoying being at a much higher rank than I ever was in my past AC participation when someone on our board calls the bronze shield a gravy shield and now I can't unsee it.

I don't think any of us can unsee it now. Especially because y'know. We're Meridell. Gravy is our thing.

Rank 2, and this is all playing Shootout Showdown. Better than the past couple of years, which were Beginner, but I know I won't be gunning for Rank 14, which is my personal best

Hey guys, I made this video originally for a guildmate but I figured I'd share it here as well. It's basically a video version of what I explained here. Hopefully it helps some of you who might be struggling with ranking.

... meanwhile here I am, making sure that I only send in YYB scores where Mirsha scored at least 10 goals, so as to keep her up in the top scorers, hoping that not too many people in Shenkuu team use this one-goal method otherwise there's not much point xD

Well, individual players really don't make that big of a difference. ^^; You can see that my total GPG is more than 4, because sometimes when I felt like it, I did play Yooyuball properly (scoring about 10 to 14 goals per game). It made zero difference though. Terror Mountain kept losing regardless of whether I submitted good YYB scores or 1-goal YYB scores.

I don't really care about the top goal scorers because most of my goals are scored with Windelle anyway. Gonna get to rank 12 today and I'll be one step away from NO MORE GRAVY SHIELD. Thank fudge nuggets we get a break before the big fat bracket battle begins.

Guess who also just found out that there are also stamps to be won from the AC shop so I'm just going to cry. Kinda want to collect Altador stamps too.

Wait, you didn't know every year (at least nowadays) they had a stamp (or some kind of collectible) for sale in the prize shop? It's probably one reason some people even bother playing, you'll sometimes see on the Neoboards asking "how many games do I need to play until I can afford the stamp?".

BUT NOTE, the "Commemorative" stamps do not go into the Altador Album, they go into one of the special Other Albums. However the AC1's and AC2's stamps, Altador Colosseum Stamp and Yooyu Celebration Stamp, are required stamp if you want to complete the Altador Album. Luckily it looks like all these Stamps are on the Trading Post so looks like it's perfectly possible to complete the Altador Album, though it's going to cost you well over 100 mil.

I was away for 10 Altador Cups, remember? And during III, IV and V, I only ever reached Rank 5. Certainly not enough for the big expensive prizes. I didn't reach a rank during I and II when, I believe, I was abysmal at YYB. I can't even remember if I played some of the other games but certainly not enough to reach rank 1.

...well, that reeks. Back to shooting for the NQII stamp collection first and foremost.

You know what the rank 12 shield and gem remind me of? Ravenclaw.

Right. What exactly in the AC's prize shop certainly changes over years. Like after the first two ACs they didn't have a collectible for the next two, then bringing back a collectible as a standard prize each year since. Plus the stamp was usually a higher level prize years ago, it wan't until recent ACs did they lower the stamps cost probably so more would be available on the market.

Good luck with the NQ2 stamps. Just checked them and Scuzzy & Terask are the big ones there.

I just want to be able to buy more stuff this year. Nevertheless STAMPS ARE HARD and yes those two are going to destroy me (Terask's revenge for me writing about him in the NT and beating NQII five times, I guess). I'm sitting at 21/25 right now for the NQII collection so I have two more I can reach before buckling down for the big ones.

It's gonna be close (blegh I don't like numbers) but if we count both RR and finals performances, it's likely MD will win.

I could just be very biased because I'm team Meridell but anyway. I finished at Rank 14, a much better rank than constantly posting rank 5 during ACIII, IV and V, and I'm glad to have helped MD post that massive 12-point score on MSN today.

My fingers hate me though.
