EDIT: Quest done...I have NO IDEA who or what to use it on, guess I'll shelve it for now. I morphed my lab pet into a Buzz (Ghost Buzz Morphing Potion seems to be the cheapest) and used my fountain quest to paint it Eventide, cos painting a Buzz any color at the fountain gets you an avatar. Only problem is, now I have an Eventide Buzz and it's pretty and I don't especially want to get rid of it or keep labbing it. Got the Fyora Has No Chill When Buying Sketchy Staff Cleaner quest today. Seriously, lady, buy a soap. Although looking at her dialogue, 1) her use of similes is right after my own heart and 2) it looks like she needs specialized staff cleaner for some sort of magical scent cloud she likes to saunter around in? Ahh, the woes of highborn faeries. |

I just woke up so my vision was kind of blurry when I got this. For a second I was like "no way, really? You can get a Faerie PB?!". And then I rubbed my eyes (with a tissue, because of you know what) and saw it was the Plushie. Derp. Anyway, A few days ago I too got lucky with getting a Fountain Faerie Quest. But here's the thing: I already had access to it. So time to use up the old one and I did what I did with the last few I gotten: get one of the Species/Colour-specific Avatars. This time I went with the Coconut Jubjub so adopted a Jubjub, painted it Coconut, and fed it a cheap Tropical Food I had in my SDB and got the Avatar, WOOT! But now I have this dilemma: I don't want to keep the Coconut Jubjub. Asked my Guild first, no one wanted him, so now I come here. Anyone want a Coconut Jubjub? I got one I think that had a decent name. Also if you don't have the Avatar now is your chance. Her name is Key_channy_8D if you're wondering.  |

Oh yeah, I forgot about the species-specific avatars. Need to check which one/s I still don't have and morph Angel into it. Hoo boy I forgot how I got some of these avatars in my list. I don't think I have Coconut Jubjub or the Buzz avatar yet.
I DO have some space in one of my spare accounts. HMMMM.

Well, you can also use the Jellyneo avatar checklist tool and adopt/make a fifth pet for avatar-grabbing purposes because the future is now. (On one hand Neopets is still a stupidly cumbersome site that's well nigh unplayable without Jellyneo's extensive resources because whyyyyy can't we just have onsite checklists and here's-how-you-get-it buttons and don't even get me started on how everything to do with the Battledome is either in-depth offsite research or guesswork. I'll bet that the site would get a decent boost in userbase if we could actually see collector lists, such as for books, stamps and gourmet food. On the other hand, having a fifth pet is now a thing. Six if you have Premium.) |

And yeah, I get the thrill of "secret" avatars but with the sheer number of them around, we could really use an onsite checklist. I remember having to open the Battlepedia to look at weapons and then screaming when I found out that the weapons I spent a lot of money on turned out to be duds. I was a content writer for Jellyneo for a short spell and I think I signed up because they were looking for Neoquest writers and I wanted to lend new players a hand, but couldn't map the entire thing. Instead, I got to work on guides because YEEEAAAAAAH THIS GAME IS A NASTY SLOG but here's a guide, from a NQ nut, to you. |

You can actually have six pets for non-premium accounts! My old fossil mind is now officially blown. Is it because of the growing number of pet-specific avatars or is it to lure more fresh meat onto the site? MOVING BACK ON TOPIC I got a quest from Fyora. I should probably move my battle pet back onto my main so he can get the most out of these quests. |

Kat I believe it's mostly for the latter, considering other virtual pet sites have infinitely greater pet slots than Neo, plus players have been asking for more slots for years now!

Maaaaan. All these years with these daily Faerie Quests, and I always crossed my fingers I'd get a FFQ. And year by year, I'd see my dream fade away without seeing the lovely Fountain Faerie.
And here, where I'm quite content with my painted Neopets, get two FFQ's in three days. Why am I cursed with this luck?! I was still trying to think what to use with the first one!
I found an old side account with two unpainted pets on it, so I might use them on those pets, and maybe send them into the pound for a lucky Neopian. But gosh, I can't get over this luck XD;
