Yup, if your entry successfully submitted, you should always expect to get a Neomail back about it, whether it be an acceptance, rejection, or holdover. That feedback doesn’t always come within the first week of submitting, so yeah if nothing comes to you by this Friday, you’ll likely hear back within the next couple of weeks!
Aw, yeahh I think we’ve all been there too x3; Some of the stuff I’ve gotten published in the NT, whoof...
If you really want, before you get a Neomail back from the editor, you can edit your article and resubmit it with a note attached. You can make the title “Article Name (USE THIS VERSION)” or something similar, so the editor knows to disregard the first version.
(Also, for future reference, you don’t need to double post for any post corrections. If there’s anything last minute you’d like to add or change to a post, you can use the Edit button in the top right corner!)

Currently your submission (A Royal Send Off: Fyora's Bucket List) is being held over and may be considered for future publication in the Neopian Times. There is no need to submit your submission again, as it is saved by the editor. Yours Sincerely, The Neopets Team www.neopets.comDont forget to tell your friends about us - send them a greeting at www.neopets.com/sendgreeting.phtml. \o/ Huzzah! Geo 🇺🇦 🌻

I uh...got another held-over? We already know I got this held-over not long after I submitted but I guess that's their way of affirming I'll definitely have both my entries in the April Fool's issue?
BTW, this is my non-April Fool's entry that'll show up.

Congratulations everyone for getting in! Also, if people are starting to receive neomails for their April Fool's submission, I'm guessing it's now officially too late to submit? Does anyone know the "theme" for 897, 898, 899 and 900? I know 896 is April Fool's (this week), so next week will be #897.
