June Scarlet True story, at one point I toyed with the idea of making a comic for this issue actually featuring talking flowers, but I never got to making a fully fleshed idea in time xD Also thought about making a comic poking fun at all the random thumbnails my latest arc has been getting, but same story for that one too, lol.

Okay, I think overall this issue was more fully realized in our minds than in reality(or at least in mine. and tbh I include my own article in that). Guess I was kinda hoping they'd do something extra for the collab, like bring in a coconut-themed background or making the 'sponsor' the Coconut shy, or a fake header image. Can't force 'em to go an extra mile, though, so that's the extent of my griping. Still, I can do reviews . . . June ScarletExcellent comic; reminded me I forgot to include Pachi, even though she was my idea . . .
I wonder if Cleo's complaint was because she was hoping they'd get something better than omelettes for dinner. Have the chance to dress up for a fancy dinner party and eat gourmet foods, say. TwillieInteresting development; there's not a lot of saga comics, going for an ongoing storyline rather than just a contained joke, and it's nice to see someone rising to the challenge. CarolynWonderful article -- Mr. Coconut has been working hard at the Times and more than earned his promotion to mascot. And the only thing wrong with "emphasis quotes" is when they're used to the point that people start to wonder if you're using a euphemism for something (and I have seen far, far worse). QuizzerYou present a solid argument, but until the day that Neopets allows me the option of preparing the food in some way -- even just cutting off the bruised bits -- I'm going to stick to feeding the more immediately edible foods to my pets.

Carolyn Y'know, sometimes I really hope that whoever originally wrote that Caption Contest entry is still kicking around Neo, even occasionally, so that they may see what has become of their Mr. Coconut creation xD And if they're not, someone needs to seek them out and send them a link to this article so that they may know their legacy. Lol I'm digging how Mr. Coconut has his own language (which consists of just the one phrase), and just how sophisticated you made him x3 What a role model, wow what a guy *claps* It's a nice feeling to know that in these uncertain times where nothing and no one is sacred, I at least still have Mr. Coconut to look up to as an aspiring professional artist. Quizzer Lol, I can't quite put my finger on it, but this one really tickled me x3 Maybe because the scenario of letting food go to waste because you kinda forget it exists is a bit too relateable for me, so I want it to be true that you can still eat it >>; But lol, hopefully people can give more love to our apple friends indeed, even if they may not all look model-worthy! And an alternate use to the rotten wormy apple can be to give it to your closest Pteri friend- they're always happy to take any worms off your hands ;D mollyscribbles Aw, I kinda want the dung-free story to be true, just for the sake of the Ruki! The Giant Squid story is also rather cute, I kinda want that one to come true too ;w; But haha, I like the format you chose of creating multiple little snippets from around Neopia, rather than just focusing on one story. I'm not too familiar with The Onion, but that seems to be in the spirit of it, creating zany-sounding headlines to confound a reader just at a glance.
