Question about Alvaski (if you don't recognise the name, don't open, many Spoiler.) Does it ever explain why he talks this way? Are the sentences pure random nonsense to get a WTH??? reaction? Or is there Meaning? Because it feels like it sometimes. Trott delivers these absurd lines with such conviction!!! |

Most of everything about the character is still a mystery where I'm at. The Mire has noticed a few things off about him (smell, body, etc), and some of the others just think he's weird.
But nothing has been revealed yet. |

I actually loved Alvaski, but I can see how he didn't super 'gel' with the group. They don't trust the Abbott, and it would be hard to get him away from that. |

I actually loved Alvaski, but I can see how he didn't super 'gel' with the group. They don't trust the Abbott, and it would be hard to get him away from that. In general, the way he was loyal to the Abbot, I could work with. But it was that almost military thinking of, getting the mission done, only care about the mission, that sort of thinking bugs me a lot. Even in real life.
So I would have started a in game argument with him, and maybe even a full on fight. Aerois #116 Never touch the weird creepy stuff! Never!

Also all that discussing of the plan on taking care of air or ground first. They forgot one thing.

So I would have started a in game argument with him, and maybe even a full on fight. For me, the fact he's clearly a brainwashed servant gives me a lot of empathy for him. The Abbott created Alvaski in an horrific fashion, which he still sort of remembers and tries to repress. Its horrible and sad, and I found it really compelling! I wanted him to be able to break away from this and be his own person so very badly.
...but paladin Dogsbody was everything I wanted. What a boy. <3 |
