The Faerie Quest event has officially started! You know the drill, visit every day to get a quest and an item (and a bonus prize at the end if you visit daily). It ends midnight March 18. Extra things to note to further benefit from this event: - A tip I've seen on the boards is to open the Shop Wiz before accepting a quest, and supposedly you should still be able to search for the item.
I personally haven't tried this before (it doesn't apply to SSW though, right?), so this is all I can say, haha. Ayyyy, it does work!  - Faerie Quest Fortune Cookies are half-off (50 NC) in the NC Mall for the duration of the event, so you can get two quests per day~. But they sell out *really* quickly, so if you see them in stock, immediately put them in your cart, lol. (Even if you don't want to buy one yet - it holds it for you.)
- If you happened to align yourself with The Sway or Order this week, and one of them ends up winning, you can also choose the Refreshed Quest Request boon on Monday to better your chances of receiving that elusive FFQ/fountain dip via Baelia...or just to avoid the Air Faerie (I'm sorry, girl. T-T). So here's hoping either of them win! (...Please let it be the Sway...)
- Remember to accept or decline (click the x) Delina's quest in order to receive the next day's daily quest. (Thank you for the reminder, neoboards.)
- Assuming Kaia is one of the faeries who can show up to offer you a quest and you don't want NC items, it may be best to store all your NC stuff (even gift boxes from Trudy) in your SDB for the time being. (Also saw this on the boards.)
tl;dr: Open Shop Wiz beforehand; accept/decline Delina quest for next daily quest to appear; buy FQC for 50 NC; complete daily quest first, then the cookie one; hope for a Sway/Order win to get Refreshed Quest boon, which also works on Delina; store NC items in SDB. ...I had no idea until I wrote this up how many extra things there were to know and remember about this event.  I mean, most of it is optional/non-essential, but still.

I felt, given the length of the first post (and it being the intro/info post), that I ought to post my comments about the first day/quest on a separate post, so here t'is. (I hope that's okay.) My item prize:
Faerieland Building Blocks Given the initial reason why we got this event, I think this item is perfect, lol. xD Wish I'd gotten it in the 2011 event.  Will edit with my FQ later.Edit: Got a Fire Faerie quest, which is good, since I need to even out my Strength stats to match my Brucey's Defense. Cookie: Got another Fire Faerie quest, which now brings Strength even with Defense.  Also, why won't the NC Mall restock with those cookies?? Arrrgggghhhhh!! Managed to snag two. |

(trying to take advantage of the one red codestone training fee before I have to upgrade to two codestone classes)
Ah well, good to have another pet that's being semi-trained. And it's Earth to start off!

Day 2: Since Penny Jr.'s Strength and Defense are evened out already, I was ecstatic that the Soup Faerie boosted Health (and movement), and then I got a Dark Faerie quest from my fortune cookie! xD That's the stat that needs to catch up with the others.
(Also, I'm just always happy whenever a Dark Faerie appears, since they're my favorite. Love the design~ :3) Day 3: Lol. They do fix it to just "Kaia" on the next page, but yeah. xD
First Kaia quest I've received, and...I didn't want her. I thought I had dumped all my NC items in my SDB, but...no! Looking at the item she's requesting, apparently the MiniMME13-S2a: Gothic Dusty Pink Wig I got from the MME Re-release capsule is still glitched for me! I thought it had been fixed since my pets can actually wear it now (it hadn't shown up in the customization options before), but nope, there appears to be an invisible one hiding out in my inventory. -___-
And now that's one fewer stat quest I get because of this glitch, bleh. Please, Sway, win tomorrow! (And I need to send in a ticket, sigh.)
Edit: Yay, the Battle Faerie strengthened Penny Jr. in an RE, which totally makes up for the lost second set of stats. :3 Day 4: Yay! The freebie for today was Air Faeries of Neopia, which was a book on my wishlist! Now I don't have to go buy it. >: D It's so pretty~ And it's another Dark Faerie quest, YUSS. Edit: Really? The only faction that *didn't* offer the Refresh Quest boon won? Bleh. Day 6: Yay, Soup Faerie is helping me boost Penny Jr.'s hit points~ ^^ ...Whoa, wait, now it's Defense that needs to catch up! And finally got a Light Faerie! She's so nice...:') Day 7: Perfect, got a Water Faerie right when Defense became the lowest stat. :3 She asked for Candy Making, and that's a really cute/clever book design. xD Day 11: My FQC ran out today. I bought another one, but I'm not sure if I want to activate it right now. Anyway! I'm always kind of nervous/excited when I get a Grey Faerie quest, hoping maybe she might result in access to the Rainbow Fountain (even if I don't currently have a pet dream atm, lol). But she asked for the Dark Faerie, and I was happy about that too, thinking it was the lowest stat, but it was actually the highest! Day 12: Whoooo! A Light Faerie Quest! Two levels! ...which the Coincidence decided to take away. T-T Day 13: And the kind Light Faerie returns to give Penny Jr. back what the Coincidence stole. :3 |

When the Grey Faerie rewards you with a FFQ, but you already had a saved up FFQ, so in essence you get no prize :K

Naia dropped in the other day, I managed to check the fountain before handing Naia the reward, realised that oh no, I already had a reward at the ready! scrambled to find a pet, and,
I guess my prize turned out to be
a sudden Chocolate Vandagyre.
And a FFQ ready for when cool Oil Paints are released.

I haven't been very good at keeping up with the quests - combination of site lag and current poor internet access - and yet today was the second time the Grey Faerie asked me for a Cobrall.
...is she amassing a snake army and should I pledge allegiance to our new snake queen now to get ahead of the curve?
I'm yet to get a single Kaia quest (or Naia, for that matter) but I only just now realized that this is a good time to try and lure her out. Got some jelly tiaras to unload.

Well, thanks to the daily faerie quests (and the faerie fortune cookies I bought when I won 150 NC earlier this week), Comet is now level 200. I am almost at 250.
