This was a fun read. xD Just replying to some small spots tho!

The Dagger and the Wolf
They confirmed on twitter that Callum has a photographic memory, yeah! =D
Also the elf lifespans vary. I think it was all talked about in 'Callum's Spellbook', a recent tie-in book which also has some very cool art of the tidebound and earthblood elves. Lifespans vary, they're usually not over a few hundred years but startouch elves can live for THOUSANDS of years!!! =O
I think the only elves whose ages have been confirmed to some degree are Rayla (16), Runaan (she says he has twenty or thirty years more experience than her, can't remember which), and Aaravos (literally thousands of years.)
Cursed Caldera
I, too, wondered about Viren eating that orange peel. xD
The idea that Runaan is just appalled at his reflection is...my new headcanon, haha. My intial feeling was that 'fate worse than death' refers to being trapped in the mirror, but Lizica and myself were talking earlier and discussed the idea that maybe those words were intended for Aaravos, and the 'fate worse than death' refers to sparkle space elf using people as batteries for dark magic (elves or dragons could last a lot longer as a power source than bugs, after all!)
Wonderstorm
My friend has a theory that humans have magic independent of the primal sources, but that it was seen as 'lesser' magic by the elves (like Ezran's ability to talk to animals), and so the humans internalised that and see themselves as non-magical beings.
I always figured Zym magic just freed Rayla. Pretty sure if Runaan gets out of the coin, he will still lose that arm. =(
I hadn't noticed dark magic is sometimes rainbowy at first! That's intriguing hmm...
