Amigurumi Nativity Scene (In Progress)

So, the other day at the checkout line while grocery shopping, there was this magazine of knit and crochet Christmas projects that caught my mom's eye, and she showed it to me and asked if I wanted it. I was initially going to say no, but then I took a closer look at it and saw it had instructions to make a full nativity scene with amigurumis, and it looked so cute, I had to get it to make that!
The scene has Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, an angel, the Three Wise Men, and even a little sheep and donkey! It's adorable! XD Since it's a pretty big project and Christmas is only a week away, I don't think I'll manage to finish on time for this year (especially because I don't know if I have all the colors of yarn I need), but at least it'll be done and ready for next year for sure!
I made this thread to track my progress, and just to share my excitement, because I'm so pumped to make this, haha!
I barely started today, but here's a picture of what the project should look like when I'm done! (ft. my first head)
Sorry the picture is a bit dark! 10 pm was probably not the best time to take it. XD
You can already see here that the skin color I'm using is a more tan than the original, but I just wanna say that was deliberate, because that's how I like it!
So yeah, expect semi-regular updates here! =D And if I haven't updated in a while, feel free to poke me, because it'd do me good to have some accountability! XD
