Looks like Thundy is cool with splitting the party. I think it's too late for me to plan the weeknight session for next week, but we should be able to do something like this:
Tally, Meallan, Khamet- session next Saturday, where we dive into Underground Adventures.
Basil, Anthony, Amani- a weeknight the week after. Exact evening BST TBA!! But it won't be Friday since Thundy works Friday, or Wednesday since that doesn't suit Gelquie. Maybe Monday night, so very soon after the first half are run? I'll have to check out my new roster first tho.

Hm, I think if we're splitting the party, then I feel a bit more inclined to join the Basil-Anthony adventures. (That is, of course, if BC and Thundy are okay with it. xD )

They actually don't have Combined Plans, so you're all good to join them and see what comes of it! I'll swap Amani over on the party composition listthing now!

Honestly, I don't really have any plans either, but I'm open to suggestions. xD Or maybe something new can be come up with for us. (Maybe we can finally take care of those spiders.) (Or we can go have a Solstriana glaring session.) (Amani could go do research, but honestly, that won't take much game-time anyway, I don't think. I don't have any solid research ideas anyway at the moment.)
Amani's pretty one-track mind right now, but don't worry, that doesn't mean you can't get them to do other things. So if someone has an idea, my ear's open. \ o /

Oh, I'll definitely throw stuff at you! As I said earlier, I have plenty of contentstuff for you folks. I just meant that the two of them haven't been planning a Secret Quest together or anything, so you don't need to check with them before joining that session half- you can just do it. xD
All good suggestions of things to do, r.e. your previous post!

((as always, let me know if I missed anything!)) EuroAtlantis Session 39: A Brief Recap!Key Notes:*Wisp tells Tally, via Meallan, that the Shadow Queen is asleep.
*Khamet talks about his friend, Sabef, who fell in with the wrong crowd and died.
*Amani and Basil plan to set up a meeting between Ragnailt and Meallan.
*Solstriana agrees to cast a legend lore spell for Meallan the following day (to reveal all she can about the god-forger), and to try and find a wizard to help the party against Malka.
*Tally and Khamet confront Amani about upsetting their family.
*Anthony delivers the gems to an injured Ruhnzolarr, and agrees to later talk to the tritons who have been attacking the dragon.
*Amani speaks with their family. 'She' is mentioned.
*Anthony and an NPC lyricist compose a song to discredit Malka.
*Wisp is now a larger spiderball creature (but still fits inside Meallan's pocket, for now.)
Recap:The party leave the trade offices and split up to discuss important matters, with Tally taking Khamet aside and Amani leaving with Basil. Meallan sends Aytal to spy on the former, but they notice and shoo him away...as do the latter when he tries with them. Amani suggests he go ahead to the Institute, which Meallan does. But first, at Wisp’s suggestion, he asks Tally if they would like to know some things about the Shadow Queen. Tally doesn’t seem overly interested, so Wisp mentions that the Shadow Queen is asleep (which isn’t quite the same for a deity as it is for a humanoid), and leaves it at that. Tally thanks Wisp, who telepathically sends them a little ‘you’re welcome!’
Khamet tells Tally what happened when he went to get a new chain for his necklace, emphasising how upset Amani’s parents and sister were. Amani had run off and put themself in Very Big Danger without letting their family know where they were going! The pair plan to confront Amani about this.
During their conversation, Tally asks Khamet about a friend he mentioned some time ago, suggesting that this friend was a warlock and that lessons from there could be applied to Meallan’s current situation. Khamet says that his friend, Sabef, fell in with the wrong crowd and that Khamet wasn’t able to save him. He starts to cry, and Tally gives him a hug. Aww! Apparently Sabef was a great guy, who wanted to travel the world, and Khamet pats his journal for emphasis as he says this.
Meanwhile, Amani and Basil talk about Ragnailt. Basil mentions that she seemed reasonable enough during their last meeting. They make plans to approach her and set up a meeting between Ragnailt and Meallan. Basil reveals that he’s been studying hard in his free time and has learned a few new languages, including Elvish and Giant!
At the Institute, Meallan meets with Solstriana. He asks her for help with Malka. The archmage reminds him that she has a duty to protect Cai Shaan, and so is unwilling to focus on some quest which may draw her focus away from her city, but agrees to see if another Institute wizard is willing to aid the party. The catch is: Solstriana doesn’t want to plunge her colleagues into something unprepared, especially after how badly injured Lyvin was in the fight with the Circle, and so will tell whoever she approaches the details of the situation- including Meallan’s connection to Malka. Meallan reluctantly accepts that if this is what needs to happen, it needs to happen, even if he would prefer otherwise. After some discussion regarding the party’s needs, Solstriana says that there is an abjurer currently at the Institute, whom she believes is the best candidate. She agrees to arrange for Meallan to meet this abjurer if all goes well, or else whomever it is she ultimately convinces to accompany the party if the abjurer declines.
Solstriana says that if Meallan return the following day, she will have prepared the legend lore spell and can cast it to uncover more information about the god-forger (this won’t be found in the recording, it was something I later realised Solstriana could have offered and so I messaged this to Celes during the break.)
Meanwhile, Tally and Khamet have teamed up to question Amani about their approach to their family. Amani argues that they didn’t want to worry their parents- they’ve done more than enough of that in past! Tally is not sure why Amani’s parents worrying about them is a bad thing, as Tally would have really liked their parents to worry more about them??
Basil hears some rumours! Solstriana is apparently acting more hostile lately, and the party...have been seen accompanied by a troll, and a strange monster with a lamprey-like mouth!!! =0 Very strange. As well as this, an owl-like person has been asking citizens if they are possessed by fey spirits...could this be the very same owl-person who helped the party with the Spider Demon and, if rumour is to be believed, blew up an island full of zombies??!?
Anthony gets ready to bring the party’s recently acquired 300gp in gems to Ruhnzolarr. He takes the form of a small (by dragon standards) gold dragon, and flies out over the ocean, ‘Highway to the Danger Zone’ blaring as he does so. He is spotted by many of Cai’s citizens...as well as people living on the islands previously attacked by said dragon. Then. He dives under the water, bringing Ruhnzolarr their shiny gifts!!!
Ruhnny is clearly injured, but happy to see Anthony, and thankful for the gems. Apparently he has been attacked by local triton. Anthony promises he will get all this straightened out, but first he needs to return home and rest. But before leaving, he invites Ruhnzolarr to his wedding. Awww! After weddings are explained to the golden dragon, he is enthusiastic about the idea, and starts planning a mortal disguise to wear to this wedding...
Having been persuaded by Khamet and Tally, Amani goes to speak with their family. Naila closes the shop and takes her child through into the house for a Full Family Meeting. Amani insists that they didn’t say what they were up to because they didn’t want their family worrying about them. Naila points out that if Amani had died facing the Circle, their family wouldn’t have known what happened and would never have had closure. Amani hadn’t considered this, and it gives them pause.
Asariel is afraid that the enchantment magic around Amani is some kind of charm. Amani denies this, and says that ‘she’ would never do that. When asked to clarify, they insist that ‘she’ is a colleague of theirs in the Disaster Party. They stay to have tea with their family and chat a while longer.
Eventually, the party regroup in the large public gardens where the Flower Gala was held. Khamet goes in search of Katu (the details of this Quest will be covered outside the session since Moni had to leave), while Tally works on a ‘secret project’, and Anthony and Meallan head to the Poet’s Guild to find someone to write a catchy song to make Malka look bad and discredit her as a potential patron. They find a lyricist called Alvaeriss who, together with Anthony, creates this epic ‘diss track' (in the words of the great bard himself.)
Meallan notices that Wisp, shuffling inside his pocket, seems larger and heavier than before. He sends Aytal to peek inside his pocket, confirming this. Meallan asks the creature to please stop growing. Wisp says he’s not sure how easy that will be, but agrees to try!
We resume the campaign next session, around 2pm on the 6th of Stone at the party house: with half the party making plans to go underground and seek out the rest of the Circle, while the other half plan alternate adventures of their own.

Greetings EuroAtlantis! Under five and a half days until session 40. A real milestone! =O What will the party get up to on this momentous occasion? Can Anthony convince the triton to leave Ruhnny alone? Can a meeting between Meallan and Ragnailt be arranged, without erupting into hostilities? Will Tally succeed in tracking down the rest of the Circle Enshadowed? Join me Saturday to find out!

Perks of D&D, #237: motivates you to clean Hi it is D&D day and yet again I have spent the whole morning in a Cleaning Frenzy, extra motivated to clean because when I settle down for my special treat in the evening, I like to do so in a fresh clean environment, also even though it's via Discord it feels like having friends over, y'know, and I can't clean just one thing, it has to be everything. Play D&D kids it'll help ya clean yer room. (Hark ye, parents.)
