So here's what's been happening so far. I have two neopets accounts and I just recently created a third one (so that makes a total of three). The account I have been using as my main is using an outdated email address that is no longer active. The other account is using my current personal email address. I have been treating this account as a side account. As well, both email accounts use the mail.com domain
So I've been trying to change the email address of my main account to my current email address. The problem is that the process requires me to access an email they send to the new email address and every time I attempt to change, the email they send gets bounced and doesn't get into my inbox. I have tried this multiple times and every time the result has been the same
I even emailed the neopets support team directly and asked if they could look into this problem. It's been over a month and the only response I've gotten is an automated reply showing my request number
And now I have a third account that is also using my current email address which I can't activate for the same reason; the activation email they send keeps bouncing
I'm considering creating a new email address on a different domain and changing the email address of all three accounts to that new email address to work around this. My main concern, however, is the algorithm that is used to determine which accounts are main and side accounts. From what I've heard, the site determines which account belongs to which person based on the email address the accounts use and I'm afraid that the account I've been using as my main could mistakenly be considered a side account and be frozen once I engage in main account activities with it
Honestly, I am losing faith in the neopets team's ability to manage their own site. Problems like this, the "connection timed out" errors I have been receiving constantly and their inability to keep AC tournaments fair are not impressing me. This is getting really frustrating and annoying. If anyone has any solutions, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks
