I didn't even know Monster was an older comic! It's really popular right now, we sell a lot of it (it's a manga right?)

I think some people know of W.i.t.c.h. only because of the cartoon show (which I never really watched beyond a couple of episodes >>;; ) But I grew up reading the comics/magazines, which I bought monthly at my local newspaper stand from 2003 to 2009. I don't have a full collection, but I do have a huge stack of them! XD; This series has such a special place in my heart, and in fact, I still have a poster of it up on my wall!
W.i.t.c.h. is about a group of friends who are chosen to be the new guardians of the order between magical worlds. It's half slice-of-life and half fantasy magical adventures! It's really fun and cute and exciting, and I love it! <3
I was originally going to 'dress up' as Hay Lin, who is my favorite of the main girls, but I saw people are going as full comics, so I thought why not be all-encompassing too!

The W.i.t.c.h comics were basically my childhood! People only seem to remember the cartoon, I had no idea someone here knew the comics! ;w; (I never got into the cartoon, the story was just too different from the comics.) And I've just managed to re-read a whole bunch of the first stories, for nostalgia's sake. It was the comic that first got me into magical girls and fantasy overall. The earlier stories and lore were so neat. I'm re-discovering various elements and plot points that I can appreciate better in retrospect. <3

I had no idea that W.i.t.c.h. was a comic on top of the cartoon. I loved the cartoon series. ;_; *prostrates self in shame*

Ah, I discovered W.i.t.c.h. through the comics as well! I never really got far in the series, only having the second book sitting on my shelves with no idea how it got there, but I'd read through it every now and then, even without the context of the intro book xD
I once saw an ad for the cartoon, but never looked into it and thus never saw any episodes. But maybe I should actually seek out the other comics and actually read from the beginning for young!me's sake, lol.

no of course I'm not done with Pokémon yet why did you think that even could be the caseSo this one's a fun webcomic for folks like me that really enjoy all the Pokémon spin-off games and think it's cool to see all those different universes brought together into one story, but mostly based on the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series and the Colosseum/XD games. Pretty much any synopsis would be very spoilery (it's pretty long and meandery and such) but it does have fun takes on existing characters but also some serious emotional stuff and good analogues for mental health and the like. A couple choice fairly-recent pages with zero context:

I have decided that I am going to speak like Antimony Carver, but stupider.
Because I am AntiMoni (TM) (no, this pun is not the reason why I chose this character/comic, and you can't prove it!)

I love a whole lot of comics, but I decided to choose just one this time. xD I only picked up Phoebe and Her Unicorn relatively recently (and I'm not fully up to date yet, shhhh, no spoilers), but it gives me such joy. =D It's like it fills up a little void in my childhood I didn't know I was missing. <3

Erfworld! A nerd whose only real skill is strategy games gets zapped into a world that operates on turned-based strategy logic, and he's put in charge of winning a scenario very similar to one he was developing as a tabletop game. There's just one problem - his game was designed to be unwinnable by conventional means, so he'll have to think waaaay outside the box in order to save himself and his side.
It's a story with a whole lot of depth and worldbuilding, since much of the story involves learning about the rules by which Erfworld operates so that they can later be twisted in unexpected ways. A lot of different sides and characters get focus as the story goes on. There's a ridiculous amount of detail put into the art and the worldbuilding, and almost everything is a reference to something in our world, from historical figures to internet memes to characters from other media.

Coaster Victory Fire was one I actually considered using! It's a great comic. (Fun fact for everybody else; look at those pages Coaster posted. The artist draws the comic in MS Paint. Yes. Really.)

I'm especially intrigued by Erfworld and Victory Fire. Can't believe that was all made in paint! =O

Oh, what’s this? Here’s a Neopets comic I’ve heard of before, and I dunno, maybe it’s good, I might need to go back and reread it first.
From what I can remember, though, here’s the plot: After an accidental encounter in Faerieland, a Neopian family finds themselves plus one member in their home atop Terror Mountain. Unbeknownst to them though are the secrets their new housemate has been trying to bury, powerful enough to uncover a few secrets of their own- some they may not have even known they had. A usually light hearted comic that may get serious at times.
Who knows, maybe it’ll even update again at some point in the future. Unrelated, but do some of these images look new to you, or is it just me?

Okay. I'm finally able to participate.. I went with Calvin and Hobbes, which is probably my favorite comic ever that I really didn't appreciate as much as I should have when it was in syndication. I miss it.
(Attempt number two, as the comic in my signature was HUGE the first go around.)
