Don't be ridiculous, I'm exactly who I say I am. My rank is the same colour and everything, and me being a mod means I cannot be easily impersonated. I understand where you're coming from, but it's simply not the case, at least not with me. ^^

Every time I come back to this thread, it just becomes more and more confusing. In a fun way, though, I think!

I'm Moni. I think we've met a few times?
Thorn, what are yo on abot? I excel at removing the perfectly adeqate 'u' from a whole variety of wordz. I alzo enjoy replacing 's' with 'z', yo may have realized. Becaze I am definitely American.

Hm. The spelling seems accurate.
OH YEAH, BUT ARE YOU *REALLY* AMERICAN? WHAT ABOUT--and here is where I realise I don't actually know American history to a ridiculously granular extent, but I'm sure you guys have never had a prime minister as cool as Helen Clark, who was pretty cool.

America has a President, actually. Because you know, they preside over stuff. Or something. Whereas prime ministers just...minister...in a more primal fashion. But hey, the whole world (except half of America...) love Obama! He was pretty cool! (NZ's current PM hasn't been in office long, but she's pretty cool too. You should check her out! Her name is Jacinda Ardern, and this is just one cool recent article about her: www.theguardian.com/world/2018/apr/20/jacinda-ardern-maori-cloak-buckingham-palace-new-zealand?CMP=fb_gu )

Yes, it's all well and good that we took a break from spirit week-ing for a while, but hopefully when we all actually dress up our profiles for songs, it'll get this party started again.

And now, on to our final theme: songs! =D
I look forward to seeing how everyone interprets this unique theme.

I should have known somebody would pick that song! xD
I spent a while considering what funny song I should pick. Then I thought "hey, it doesn't need to be funny!" So I instead picked a long-time favourite- a song which has always struck a chord with me, and which has a lots of lovely associations. True, the story concerning why the song was written is a wee bit humorous, but I only learned about that recently.
It's hard to dance with a devil on your back, so shake him off!
