Hello, Ive been ok with the wraith-resurgence popups that appear near the giant omellete and such until recently.. Because all of a sudden at the giving tree, This popup trying to invite me to HQ has spawned there too. Imagine if this happened DURING dailies (video games) That slow, Irritating message would render them unplayable and whats worse is this message hangs around foreeeever. I have to refresh the page constantly at the giving tree to see and choose new items from it, But the popup is invasive, Constant and there seems to be no way to block it from appearing.. Could you please please remove this ungodly wraith-resurgence popup from appearing when I'm at the tree? .. Help me please, And talk to someone working at NP so that something this bad, If it was an oversight, Never happens again? There is almost no reason this popup should appear at a semi-auction place like the giving-tree, None. And if its a glitch.. really throws a monkey wrench into my day? This has gone on for two days now and its ungodly. V_V
Someone..
PLEASE...??

I am sorry to hear about the popup giving you trouble. However, regretably, all of the members and mods here are players just like you. We have no control over the Neopets site and no contact with any of the Neopets staff, at least not more than any other user. We cannot do anything about fixing the popup from an administrative angle. The best I can advise you is to ask on our thread about the Wraith Resurgence plot in Neopets General (link here) if anybody has found a way to get that popup removed from a user perspective. I hope you manage to solve your problem! EDIT: I notice that you remade this same thread in Neopets General very soon after I posted. I would like to ask that you stick to one thread per topic only. We do move much slower than the Neoboards and it might take a while for a reply to come through. Posting more than one thread like you have done can be considered spamming. I have therefore deleted your post in Neopets General and moved this thread in its place, as Issues and Inquiries is not the board for it either. Once again, I hope you do get your answer, but please be patient. |

Yeah its not like this is the first time ive been here before, Driven by desperation because of a STUPID ad that looks like something broken, And getting a response thirty, four minutes later which inbetween made me wonder if this site was alive or dead.. Hon? ...This is costing me time and as far the game goes.. Ingame Money. Its not like the same items appear every hour or even everyday so when I could be getting bottled fairies and books instead of flicking through the tree waiting for junk to go away is slipping away as we speak all the time (and even reversing) like sand in a bottle glass timer. I guarantee if this ad was instead MASS-appearing over everyones dailies then youd be as against the wall as I am right now where HOW more people than just me aren't losing it slowly over this is mind boggling -
Its nothing personal! But This ad and this event is like having someone grind a cheese-grater against my FACE! And when I had the time to do the giving tree when it was convenient? - Now its gone! Because of this stupid ad!

Forums usually take a long time to respond to posts, that's the nature of a site like this. People might be busy and simply not see your post. You just need to be patient when posting, and somebody will get around to answering your question. Spamming will not help make your voice heard. On the contrary, it might deter people if they feel you are being obnoxious.
I am sorry that you feel like you are losing time and money. However, I think you are taking this too seriously. It is just a game. If the Money Tree does not work, do something else instead of struggling against the popup event. There are plenty of pages on the site which are not affected.

It may be a game but my time isn't disposable, Any more than yours or the next person is and this ad thing is messing up and wasting my time.

If you're concerned about time, I'd say actually participating in the plot would be a better use of it than trying to catch things from the Money Tree. It should take you about 30-60 minutes to get caught up with the plot steps if you use Jellyneo's walkthrough. Some of the plot steps involve battling, but that's also a much faster way to get NP and good items than the Money Tree. If you aren't sure what sort of weapons to use, as a beginner set I recommend getting two Scroll of Ultranova (as your main attack), a Downsize! (as a 50% blocker), a Lesser Healing Scroll (as a healing item), and a Leaf Shield or Patched Magic Hat (as a shield). The full set will run you around 60k; just the Scrolls of Ultranova and the Lesser Healing Scroll together will cost around 30k, but either way, you would easily earn that amount in a few days of battling. Also, the plot itself has given out some very nice weapons already (although no healing or defensive weapons just yet). |

Oh thatd be awesome if I wanted to, Which I don't. I come to the giving tree which is pretty much the only kind of place of its kinds in neopets because that's where I have to go for its services, Not to be reminded of an irritating slow and invasive ad every, Single, Refresh. I appreciate you telling me what you did, Fraze, But if my browsers don't want to make the event work, I didn't participate in the resurgence because it didn't move me at all, And I don't feel like making my monsters fight right now..
60k? I'm trying to save that up right now.
30k? Alone or combined that's a ridiculous leap of a setback.. How do you get rid of that ad. I don't want to see it, I don't want it near me on the site.

The only way to not see the pop up, if you don't want to do the plot, is to not use the money tree for the rest of the plot. There's no way to turn it off, and, unfortunately, there's nothing anyone here at NTWF can do about it, other than the advice we've already offered.

I'm sorry, but as Celestial said before, we're not Neopets staff, nor are we in direct contact with anyone who could fix the issue for you. We can't provide a solution to the popup problem, only offer alternatives. People are trying to offer help as best they can; please watch your tone, as you're coming off as very abrasive, especially on top of demanding we fix a problem we have no way of fixing.
