Awwwwwww~ <3 Ahh, it's beautiful, I love it so much!! The landscape is amazing, I love how you were able to bring the color out in the mountains, trees, and snow, and how they all tie in with the building. Plus, the detailing on that patio's railing!! And ahh, Twillie and Jonathon are adorable chilling out together x33 Thank you so much, I love it!

Soz for late reply, but no problem, Twillie!  Always enjoy drawing your characters. ^.^ Celestial -- yours is done! The pose is a bit off from what I envisioned (and I utterly failed at foreshortening), but hope you still like it: One last request to go! And I'm excited to start it; an Avatar tribute has been long overdue. XD Thanks for all of the requests so far, guys; I've found that in the process I've hit something of a stride with these sorts of illustrations, and I can focus more on trying to make the piece come together rather than individual nitty-gritty bits.  |

Zoey eeee thank you so much that is utterly delightful! ^.^ These two just had to meet like this and chill. Iroh looks very comfy and seems to be taking his sweet time, as always, and now Zuko can wait amiably. I love the lighting, long shadows and soft orange / dark green palette. And I do appreciate how the teapot is right in the middle, dominating the scene from the seat of honour, its rightful place. c:

I imagined them meeting up in the spirit world and chilling over some tea and pai sho XD the dark greens are actually painted from a deep maroon; but it blends in with the rest of the color scheme. Was going for something along the lines of "soft light and spirit world colors" buuuut it ended up looking like a sunset with a really stark grass tone, LOL! Glad you liked it, though! I did as well! |
