Finished Coaster 's challenge! This one turned out quite... fun, actually! XD So to recap, the premise is:

- Two or three of your favorite Pokémon species (all the same one, or a mix of several)

Not necessarily my *favorites* but the most fun for this painting: 1. The tiniest Tropius you'll ever see, 2. Gardesil, and 3. ... Psyduck.
- Doing a silly interaction, off the top of your head (tea party, boy band, fast food counter, prison break, etc.)

PRISON BREAK ALL THE WAY
- With whatever expressions and whatever background best (or worst, if you want) fits the setting of that interaction, under your interpretation
1. Tropius is a helicopter, 2. Gardesil is super-jacked, and 3. Psyduck is... Psyduck.

Hello this is stunning and Ginz and I are both speechless over it thank you so much GOSH this is BEAUTIFUL??? I LOVE the atmosphere of the wintry landscape, the trees and mountains and houses visible in the distance across the vast snowfield really make me feel all the open space around them, it feels like just the kind of environment Itzel would love to go scouting through and Aster would want to draw, it's perfect for them both!

I love the bright blue shadows against that expanse of white snow; it feels just like one of those days where the snow has fallen and now the sky has cleared and the bright sun is hitting it and everything is clear and crisp and cold, and that wooden gate with snow piled up on its layers of slats gives me the feeling of wandering through farm country with everything so wide open and empty... it really captures the quiet feeling of a world with snow all settled over it, and the sharpness of the sunlight reflecting off it and brightness of the winter cold, I love it!!

I love the mild blues blended in with everything and the earthy feeling of the soft browns, and the way the brushstrokes imply the thicket-like branches of the snow-covered bush--I feel like I've passed by that exact kind of bush looking just like that in winter somewhere--and how thick and solid the fence post looks, and its texture! THE WAY YOU DREW ITZEL AND ASTER IS ALSO PERFECT I LOVE IT??? They look so young and sweet and of course Aster has his sketchbook out to capture this view (I love how the page has a bit of a darker shade) and the bright blue of their outfits looks so lovely, I love their poses as well!! Of course Itzel seems to be offering a hand to lead the way while Aster is leaning back on his leg to support his sketchbook! XD Their hair is beautiful, I love how Itzel's is fluffing out around her while Aster's is ever so slightly gently blowing back, and the golden shine on it beside the soft blue shadows! thank you so much I will now stare at this forever

Well, shoot, I think this takes Best Reaction to Art 2K17, LOL! I'm so glad you guys like it so much; it was one of those happy accidents. Not much planning involved, just found a nice snowy landscape with a bit of interest and picked a natural position for Itzel and Aster to be in, and then kind of went on autopilot for the background. ^.^ Although I almost laughed out loud when I first read Ginz's description of Aster-- "likes to paint landscapes" WELL SHOOT IF THAT ISN'T ME.

(Also I wholeheartedly welcome more of your Itzel and Aster art; your doodles of them are adorable)

(Also also if it were a true "painting on scene" set, Aster would have a tripod with a flat surface and a palette and brushes out, but god I am too lazy to draw all that out, and I'm sure Aster would be exhausted just thinking about all the stuff he has to carry, if he's anything like me XD)

Killix - That's pretty funny! XD I'm glad you liked it, too; yours should be coming up soon! (Whether or not the final product is actually any good... we'll find out XD)

Guess? Ahaha, well Holt is one of only two ridgeback dragons I own, so it's pretty easy to tell. ;3 I've also had him for a pretty long time, he was one of my early babies.

(The reference pic for the trail was actually completely green and yellow like a normal trail; had to make up the colors along the way. XD Also using a gosh darn waterbrush to fill this all in is frustrating as all get-out. D: )
