No, it didn't. It was the plot that introduced the 'Do Your Part' bar that this 100% bar effectively is. Every plot from Tale of Woe onwards has had win caps on battling. Curse of Maraqua was the last one that didn't. I think I need some clarification on that point. I know it wasn't uncapped, but I was almost certain that the cap for the obelisk war was way higher than what it took to fill the bar. I did a ton of extra battling on that one and in turn got a lot more prize points than some others, and when we compared notes it looked like the only difference was whether we kept going after filling the bar. Was that just completely wrong, or? Plots from LDP-TFR have included bonuses for the speed of completion rather than a fixed amount from each step/opponent. So your extra points are probably due to completing some of the achievements or caps earlier than other people. Looking at your stats, you have more points than me despite me having a lot more victories against the final two waves.

So the potion achievements page suddenly just loaded like a dozen new potion achievements and WHAT THE- are they all different potions or the same one? ? If they're all different potions that means there might be like a dozen different wraiths for us to fight... AWESOME. BRING IT.

Interesting to see how they squeeze that in since according to the NC stuff, the plot will last until December 10th. Unless the plot continues after the NC stuff ends, which would be surprising. Not that I'd be complaining about 11 more wraiths considering the first one only needed to be beaten 5 times on Hard... 11 more wraiths means 11 more Mystic Murmers and Treasure Chests as well.

I imagine they might have a second NC event or something... If it ends on Dec 10 then the entire plot was only 20 or so days long, which is shorter than even the AC.
fyora, no, I don't want to do anymore mystic murmurs or treasure chests. D: Really hope they do other types of puzzles.

They seem to be different potions, because I just created another of the current potions, after the new ones went live, and nothing happened.... The "second potion" part didn't turn green.

I saw a post where people were saying that some of the next plots steps got released for a while earlier this morning. They said they were buying up a lot of extra extoplasms because there was a hint at donating them for some prize points. Did anyone see any of this? Any of the next steps? I don't want to miss out but I don't want a lot of ectoplasm for no reason.

The spoilers were that we'll be creating a total of 10 different potions for Taelia - its unlikely all of those will use ectoplasm as ingredients. We'll be using the potions to clear wraith fog from site features like we did for the omelette/jelly.
The step(s) after that were accidentally released. We'll be using potions to clear the wraithness from NPC characters - likely the former wraiths Fyora mentioned. We don't know yet if its the same potions as the 10 we will be getting from Taelia but its a solid bet. I wouldn't say there's any particular need to stockpile though - so far everything seems very plentiful.
There was an additional leak in that the bridge behind Kaia briefly went clickable/glowing. The url for the image included 'finding kaia', so it seems likely that after we've cured the NPCs Kaia will suddenly go missing and we'll have to find her.

I had an idea. I know some people might not believe it, but we don't know exactly how long they have been working on the plot and everything about it yet. What if they release a new pet? So say we fight and heal some of the wraith. What if one of them gets healed and everyone, even the faeries are like "What the heck even is this thing?!" But it wouldn't remember what it is either, so they would just name it something and call it a new neopet.

This is one of the NC war booty prizes. It's called the "spiked throne." Stop ripping off Game of Thrones. Start ripping off real literature, like *looks up Amazon listings for Bestselling Romance* ... no, this is too easy of a joke to make.

Zoey Fifty Shades of Fae should totally be a real item. You have dark faeries and light faeries (and GREY FAERIES), it could totally work as like a postmodernist deconstruction of how Neopia portrays dark+light. Like, they reference GoT, why not Fifty Shades? x) (yes I did put those in the same sentence) (fight me irl)

I'm sure there would be some users who would love to have leather BDSM looking clothes. Obviously they can't say that's what it is, but having a dominatrix dress and calling it something like "Cruel Leather Dress" might be able to get pass the radar if the clothing isn't that too revealing.

Scrappy has confirmed that extra battles DO NOT COUNT! Only getting to 100% is what you need, sans battling for extra potion ingredients.

With a name like "Cruel Leather Dress," I kind of want the dress to just be a bully that hurls insults at you whenever you view your pet. pfff. It's just a mean-spirited dress! It'll be like Hanso, new plot step where you insult the wraiths. (This is what would happen in Neopets if I ran things.) edit: they FIXED MYSTIC MURMURS. Now you actually have to solve its accompanying puzzle. MORE EDITS: When you solve the mystic murmur: A light faerie suddenly appears in front of you. "I'm glad I could get to you before the wraith got here! They're attacking in hordes, so you better be careful. We've gotten together to craft a special weapon that should help you take them down, but we locked it up so it doesn't get into the wrong hands. Open this when you're ready to fight." When you do the puzzle after that: You will get an item called the fiendish Key, and you unlock a new wraith! : You suddenly notice a group of Deathball Wraith heading in your direction! Go FIGHT!!! This rotund, growly little wraith is full of energy as it bounces and bobs, looking for the right angle to pounce at you. Happy battling! (I expect people who complained the plot was "too easy" will now be like "WHY ARE THE REST OF THE STEPS BROKEN??? pfff. at least mystic murmurs is fun.) You can make more potions! Taelia's Concoction II can be used in the Soup and MI kitchens, and #3 can be used in Pick Your Own and Apple Bobbing.
