Hi there! Wow, how long has it been?
I've been mostly out of the loop, and suddenly the various "Gayo ..." end of year song festivals are past, and there are plenty of groups I don't know, and so many of my faves have disbanded...
But a lot of my faves are still around, so here are my updated recommendations, to catch up.
Starting with the ladies,
Gfriendare still looking and sounding like an anime opening theme and dancing dynamic, graceful dances.

EXIDare still thriving, I'm not even over DDD yet and here's another bop:
I Love You (Music Video, contains pretend-hangover nausea miming)
Mamamooare still being queens, and this is my new favourite by them:
Egotistic audio Starry Night (Music Video)
Sunmibrilliant soloist whom I hadn't properly noticed back when this regal break-up song came out, a whole year ago:
Gashina (Music Video)
and she continues to rock
Siren (Music Video, some flashing lights) -
Heroine (Music Video)
In kpop, it often seems that rookies have to go through an embarrassing debut song before they get permission to perform good songs, in better outfits.
That wasn't the case for these rookies who came into the scene already giving us bops
(G)I-DLEHann (dance practice) -
Latata (dance practice)
They are filling the Sistar- and 4Minute-shaped holes in my heart.
Twice I have resisted Twice's appeal ever since their debut - they're all lovely! they are such good dancers! but the dances they got didn't seem to be good enough for them and it was frustrating, ok? But now they've finally grabbed me with
Dance the Night Away (dance practice)
and here is
Dance the Night away (Music Video) I'm sorry they're just too adorable I can't ;_;
Now the lads,
Seventeenare still churning out incredible choreos and heartfelt songs and this is my favourite thing they've ever done:
Thanks (dance practice) in which they use their numbers and multiple levels to give depth to their formations.
Two group members with a gorgeous, artistic dance performance:
My ICall Call Call (Music Video, some flashing lights) -
Call Call Call (dance practice, this one is a
marathon)Gentler and cozy:
Home (dance practice) - Edgier:
Getting Closer (dance practice)
SHINeeI'm still impressed they released their album when they did. While new boy bands are being all dynamic and edgy, these avant-garde veterans are keeping it minimalistic and #artistic.
Hope they're taking a good break or doing all they need to do for themselves at the moment.
I Want You (Music Video) -

All Day All Night(Other boy bands? Naaah, they get enough attention. You post about them ;D)
