The house you go up to is fairly normal, by all means. Some orange fairy lights decorate the bushes and trees, a handful of carved pumpkins rest on the walk, and the porchlights give the whole exterior a soft glow against the dark night. As you walk up to it, though, you notice something that is clearly not a decoration.
A, um-- you don’t quite know what to call it really, but it’s very large and made of practically nothing but hair and teeth. Perhaps she seems familiar, though.
“Writer isn’t here right now, but she says that she can still make you anything you want,” she says as she hears you approach, “As a ‘treat’.” She pulls a twisted smile.
“And also there is--” Her face contorts into a grimace “--candy.” With a leery glance in the bowl’s direction, she makes a sharp guttural noise from her throat, almost like she’s gagging at the mere word.
It’s at that moment you notice the sign pinned to the stool holding the bowl.
Before you can ask how this “Writer” will even hear the request, though, she speaks again.
“She explained how she would do it, but it was long. Something about walls. There are many, and also none. But she also said that if you say what you want, she will know.”
Well um, why not, you suppose. It might at least make for some conversation with this, ah-- Mary, a little note on the table said, with a little stick figure version of her next to it.
As you think of something, if anything, that you’d want, you grab some pieces of candy from the bowl and unwrap one. You can’t help but look to Mary while the thought crosses your mind, Surely one piece wouldn’t do any harm…? Well, that’s up to you to figure out.

Don’t tell her the wrappers can be removed. I want visitors to get at least some candy.

My first idea for a house fell through, so I’m just taking art requests \o/ If you ask for a character, all I ask is that you provide some refs :3 Note: these will not be colored
