Oops did I forget to post Day 10 here? >>; Day 10: Gigantic A little bit in honor of John Green's new book, Turtles All the Way Down (even though the book isn't actually about turtles) ✦ Day 11: Run Itzel! =D (She's my character from Wrighton, if you're not familiar with her) I'll be honest, it was getting late and I hadn't done anything for Inktober yet and I wasn't feeling particularly creative either. So I thought I'd just look for a pose reference and pick a character to draw running. Simple enough, right? And that's how I found out SenshiStock is doing daily poses to match the official Inktober prompts! =O They could be pretty useful, so I thought I'd let you all know! Inktober Day #12: Shatter  Claire has a bat and can get pretty destructive. I think it's safe to say she broke things before. This time, she just happened to break the fourth wall. BONUS  Again. Claire. Bat. Destructive. She's about to smash Audo's guitar! D: (Thank you, Birdy , for the idea and for Audo.) Day OH MY GOD I CAN'T- If there's one thing Inktober has taught me, it's that being limited to using one medium every day for a month is exhausting. Tried to do a concept design and OH MAN IT LOOKS LIKE THAT ONE BENDING SPORT FROM KORRA Will say that I like the brush pen on smooth paper for illustration designs like this. |

Inktober Day #13: Teeming  I was kinda stumped on this prompt, I have to admit. XD So I Googled the word teeming, went onto Google Images, and see what came up. I saw swarms of stuff like bugs and fish. So I decided to draw some moths. \o/ (Some of you know this already, but moths are my favorite insect. They're so cool!) |

I didn't want to miss two days in a row, but motivation is starting to run low for me >>;; Anyway, today I did the same thing I did with Itzel on day 11, but with Aster! I didn't tell Nut , mainly because they went to bed before I decided to do it, but now it's a surprise!! 8D Day 13: Teeming Pose reference: senshistock.deviantart.com/art/Inktober-13-Teeming-706430320((I did cheat a little and fixed his nose digitally, because the one I actually inked was AWFUL. And I mean, I know the "fixed" one isn't great either, it's just a triangle, but I did what I could >>;;; Also, he's barefoot because I was initially just copying the reference and not thinking he would be wearing shoes, and then I got sad about covering the feet because I find them hard and they took me a while and it would have been wasted effort ;-; I don't know, I'm sorry, I'm tired and full of excuses.)) |

Day I'm-so-glad-the-days-match-the-actual-date-otherwise-I-wouldn't-know-what-day-it-actually-is Concept design, this time eerily reminiscent of the science girl from Big Hero 6. Can't ever have anything completely original apparently. XD  brush pen with watercolors -- loving your recent works with senshi-stock poses! I used to use hers all the time also just to practice figure drawing, too. ^.^ Nowhere else where we can find stock photos of people doing poses you only see in cartoons/animations! |

Sorry for the double post, but I just finished mine for today and I don't want to forget to post it. D: Inktober Day #15: Mysterious  I actually had the idea for this drawing for a long time. I just didn't get to draw it until today and I'm happy I finally got to do it. This fellow was a lot more angular in my head, but I drew him all curved. I'm just used to drawing curves. I decided I wanted to try and make cleaner lines for today. Then I decided I want the outline of this to be thick. I had to use a black marker to help make the lines thicker and the sort of face area to be completely blacked out (my rinky-dink ballpoint pen can't handle it). Then I went back in with my pen to smooth out the lines. I think it turned out pretty well. It's a lot cleaner than all of the other Inktober pieces I did this month. (I still like that messy style I've been doing, but I like taking a break from it.) I still need to work on cross hatching, but I'm getting there. |
