Inktober Day #6: Sword I was originally going to do a cool pose with this, but then I gave up because I stink at poses. I'm happy I got to draw a pirate, though. I think my Inktober pieces are getting more and more detailed as I go on and it hasn't even been a week yet. Like, this has even more shading. I have to say, I like this sketchy, sort of messy of style with the linework. I think it comes out a lot nicer than when I tried doing it all clean. Ironic, eh? X3 But yeah, I like it.

Day 7 - Drew a bunch of ink sketches today while watching my little brother's basketball games, and was satisfied by exactly zero of them, so here's a fountain pen doodle:

Inktober Day #7: Shy It's An-chan! I wanted to try with facial expressions today... The key word is try. I also tried with colored pens. Again, key word is try, but I think it's kinda successful. Ani was originally going to be really shy, but that changed at some point near the beginning of Wrighton. Eh, whatever. *shrugs* Characters work in mysterious ways. I have to say, I'm impressed with myself that I'm keeping up with Inktober. I don't know how, but I'm doing it. \o/

Day 7- SHY Did one of my shy characters, Mayes from Medieval (who I have not written about yet but I have plans). Here is his favourite thing to do: stargaze and be in awe. (Not too happy with this one, because inking messed up the facial expression, and I had to cheat with the background, but it's okay)

Day 7: Shy I had a low motivation day today, so I just drew this shy little pygmy puff. I guess it was good for hands practice, though!

Inktober Day #8: Crooked My glasses are always crooked. I decided to share my struggle with the world today.

Day 8- Crooked. I had no idea what to do for this until I realised one of my characters needed designing. Elaine Perlino, everyone. Her foot is not an art error. That is, in fact, a club foot. It does not hinder her from being a lovely, amazing person who has a loving hubby who is willing to choose her over an immortal, perfect being...but I am getting ahead of myself. Tried something new with the shading on her nightgown. It did not quite work, but at least you can see her face nicely.

Alright, I have no excuses this time, I just didn't get to drawing for this in the past few days xD Soo, I shall make up for it now with a sketch dump! Some prompts I followed, others I just drew whatever because a couple of those days weren't doing much for me, inspiration-wise. Day 5: Long Only thing I could think up this day was Longtail from the Warrior Cats series x3 Been a while since I've drawn a cat, so it was an exercise in seeing how much I remembered! Day 6: Anything but a Sword! Confession time: swords in both design and application have always kinda bored me, so I was not looking forward to drawing one or someone fighting with it >> Made a couple attempts, but nothing really presentable came from them, so instead today I made a number of ramble sketches, just whatever came to my head xD Day 7: Shy Got excited for this one, because it let me draw my favorite little guy! (not that i wouldn't draw him if i want anyway, but it's at least justified a bit more here x3 it's been a while since i've gotten to draw Jonathon or any of my other Neo characters >>) Day 8: Um, maybe Crooked? And finally, a Wrighton sketch because this image was put in my head and wouldn't go away! x3 It's, uh, got glasses in it, so maybe it counts for crooked? Birdy

Inktober Day #9: Screech I didn't have any other ideas except for a Pokemon using the move Screech. It's like Day #1 for me except I like this drawing better. I'm happy with how this Umbreon turned out, though. :3

Day 9 - World-building So I finally decided instead of just doodling anything I would be more productive and work on my world-building as well. The problem with this is that I need to use colors most of the time for world-building (because, like, trees and stuff), but all of the initial sketching is done in fountain pen ink, so the end result is not really... the spirit of inktober, but it technically requires ink and all of the limitations that come with using ink. XD (the paper is not really meant for watercolor but I'm making it take it anyway because I expect 150% from all my art materials XD)

Day 9- Screech I drew a birb that makes a screeching sound. =D Half way through drawing, I realise I should have drawn a screech owl, but I am more familiar with barn owls and they have a gorgeous face shape that makes them look so wise. So I stuck with it.

Inktober Day #10: Gigantic The only thing I could think of for today is when I sat on someone's shoulders and felt huge when I was a toddler. So I decided to draw that. (Granted, that's not me in the drawing, but still, I wanted to draw this scenario.)
