I actually didn't find Wing It to be that bad. Lore-wise, it plays on most of the established Shenkuu games being based around precision and concentration, which is a plus for me. Also all of the prizes are unique, aside from Neopoints.
Everything else is meh, but to me this seems like a Faerieland version of the Winter Starlight Celebration - one new thing everyone can participate in (Wing It, the Advent Calendar), one new NC component, and then links to other relevant established site features. The guaranteed healing and being able to use the soup kitchen no matter how much NP you have are nice touches.
Maybe Evella is a bit... well, evil? As in, she cares more about herself and making a profit than she does about her sisters. Maybe she buys bottled faeries from Balthazar, sells magical slingshots to free the faeries, and then Balthazar is free to capture those faeries again for next year to start the cycle over? The only real question with that would be why Fyora allows that to happen...

I was sort of hoping daily quests would be a thing again. Oh well  Kaia's new dialogue seems to confirm Ted's theory--she looks different no matter where she goes. I haven't seen all the flavor text for Evella's stall, but wow, that is pretty confusing. Maybe the bottled faeries are props and she's going for dark comedy. |

Actually, according to JN, it's random whether you pin the wings on the Faerie or not; it's like Kiko Pop in that way. If that's the case I wish they weren't so misleading, like just have the statue go in random directions with no pattern to give it the illusion the result whether you won or not hadn't been decided already. Anyway, with the Faerie Festival only lasting a week and this being very luck based I have a feeling Wing It might soon be joining my Dailies list. Though if it does become a Daily I hope they add a batch more items (existing Faerie-related items) to its prize pool, the shallow prize pool it has now is alright for the Faerie Festival but those items will not be so special if it becomes a Daily and they remain the only prizes you can win. Winter Starlight Celebration is alright because the main attraction of it is the Advent Calendar plus the NC accompaniment, no one was expecting anything else from it. However things are a bit different for the Faerie Festival, JS built it up with mini-dialogue we only seen in more complex events plus there are things on the NT poster which they haven't fulfilled: Special Quests. So far, the only quests they have are the existing ones... and one isn't event a quest giver. It's why I'm reserving my opinion, as of right now JS has lied to us so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and saying a special quest thing is coming, hopefully. Guess they want to save Daily Quests for that specific event? Well I figured she looked the same wherever she went, that was never a point of contention. |

Actually, according to JN, it's random whether you pin the wings on the Faerie or not; it's like Kiko Pop in that way. You know after yesterday, I wouldn't have believed you because I timed it and got the wings right on the faerie, and won. Today, though, I'm more inclined to believe that: I timed it, got the wings right on the faerie, and lost. P: |

Hey guys, I couldn't help but notice things are getting a bit tense on this thread. Remember that while it's cool to speculate and theorize about the Faerie Festival, let's try not to get on each other too much over disagreements about the direction of the event. At the end of the day it's just a game~

WARNING MAJOR SPOILER FOR THE FAERIE FESTIVAL BELOW: So this was found:  Looks to be an avatar for the Faerie Festival and my theory on the other board may have been right that we can expect some wraith-y visitors to crash the Festival in the near future. Personally, I hope so because I'm sick of people throwing tantrums as if Viacom-era TNT never phoned it in on certain events.Speaking of the avatar, it's the same jumpy animations that other recent avatars have had, but at least they're trying to do something a little more involved than a 1 second pan to a cornucopia or something. This may be my favorite avatar that they've made. IT SHOULD FEATURE KAIA PROMINTENLY THOUGH WHAT 2 HECK? (unless there's a Kaia avatar for Wing It that no one has gotten yet because it's rare, in which case that's okay) |

Well alright!  Okay, JS, you got us. Heck, I'd say if your plan was to interrupt the Faerie Festival with something bigger you sort of one upped TNT who's last Faerie Festival was just visiting the page to get a prize each day (until they were all turned to stone) Course, TNT also redid the entire Faerieland map not too long before the Faerie Festival. Though the only thing I will say is it feels a bit cheap they're having the Faerie Festival getting crashed again. Unless this becomes a recurring gag, which wouldn't be that bad of an idea though hopefully not with Wraiths each time (and they can keep it interesting, like mix up what the event will be. This is going to be a battle/war, but next year can be a logic puzzle (some Faeries gone missing and its up to you to figure out how) or a series of fetch quests to get certain busy Faeries to come). |

Huh. You know, I've realized the only thing that's really kept me invested in the Faerie Festival is these spoilers we keep getting. If I hadn't see Kaia's image beforehand, I wouldn't have been as interested. Some of these later spoilers are more thought provoking than trying to pin wings on a cardboard cutout. I just hope the next set of things live up to their spoilers.

I'm still of the belief that this event isn't going to develop beyond some dialogue on the final day, and the recent spoilers are more of a link to the November plot rather than an expansion of the current event.

I read through all that dialogue and a Neopedia Article and all I got was a lousy Faerie Festival!
There’s a lot of unfinished business in Faerieland from TFR and stuff. The avatar is nice but I can’t help but think about what could have been if they’d have just done a little more than this.

Hm won a Flowing Rose Dress from Wing it, put it on the TP and got an offer of 110k. I am not sure about the price though, anyone knows anything about rarities etc. that could help me out? xD
