There's a new freebie in the NC Mall... but the clothing inside are for Scorchios only. This is to 'commemorate' Jumpstart being acquired by NetDragon (hence, the Scorchio).
I think this is the first time in NC Mall history that clothing are restricted to certain pets and not colour.

Hm, the fact that they're going out of their way to acknowledge it through a fun little thing like that instead of glossing over it is giving me (a little) more hope that the acquisition by NetDragon will (hopefully positively) influence the development of the site.
Though as a nitpick, I do find it a bit odd how their choice of gift is one that is restricted to one Neopet, even if they were going for the NetDragon/Scorchio pun and all.

I wonder if maybe this wasn't originally scheduled as a thing, that they were never going to make a big deal about NetDragon but then it got publicised off site and they thought maybe they should do something?
Would explain just the Scorchio, since there probably wouldn't be art resources for a new 3 item set at short notice for all pets.
